I ask this because I have noticed that a lot of 50+ runners have started running later in their life. Me I was 33 when I began. I soon discovered I had more endurance than speed and did my first marathon at 40 years old.

So you're over 60, do a race that went well and you're happy about yourself. But when you tell others that you arrive 3rd in your category, some ask you: "How many were running in your category?" And when you answer 10, you see their "so what" face.
What they don't realize is that after 60, injuries and many other factors contribute to lower the number of runners in the older age groups. Just being able to be an active runner is already an accomplishment.
So I say CHEERS to all of us out there.
That song resumes my situation. I'm an older guy who has started bedroom DJing a few months ago. I've made some decent lists, but the problem is that nobody wants to listen to them, starting with my wife who can't stands EDM. Maybe one day I'll give a try to an open deck somewhere, but until then, is putting some lists on soundcloud or mixcloud a good idea?

Hi community, not really an injury but when I finish a race, for about 20 minutes my surroundings are getting overexposed, everything and everyone are in a blinding light. I don't feel dizzy at all, I'm ok, but it's very special. Someone heard about that kind of things here? TY.

In 2001, NYC Marathon was the first public event allowed after 9-11, people were so happy to get out cheering the runners. One year later, the vibe was still strong. All along the course, there was tons of people cheering us, I felt like I was running on a cloud. For them we were the heroes that brought normal life back. What a feeling it was. Even at the restaurant where I had made a reservation, they brought a cake with the inscription "Congratulation Dan". It still gives me goose bumps when I talk about it.

When I bought my DDJ-FLX4, I had fun trying all sorts of sound effects, but soon after, I realized that the real fun is in mixing the tunes and adding outros an intros to create unique mixes. So for me now mixing is putting all the right ingredients for the cake to rise while effects are the icing, to give flavours but not in too large amount.
I guess I have to transfer my Spotify's playlists to another streaming service?
As a beginner, I have not taken too much importance to that aspect of DJing, up until now, I'm trying to make a setlist respecting that. I find it binding. So if my track is 3B, I could go 2B, 4B and 3A. 2A and 4A are off limits?
