[Question] Getting rid of HLJ credit

HLJ took so long to ship my order that once they finally shipped it, Japan Post sent it back as shipping to the US was paused. They cancelled and gave me a credit.
I’m now stuck with a 6700 yen credit, because they don’t carry anything I actually want. , and it doesn’t make sense to blind bags that I don’t actually want. How can I sell my credit and be done with them forever?

Cat wailing at 4-4:30 am

TLDR: 13 year old male wailing between 4-4:30 am. Blood, thyroid, and blood pressure normal.

My cat is a 13-year-old (neutered) male. For the past few months, he’s been wailing around 4-4:30 am . He’s a semi vocal cat, and he meows while playing and when he wants something, but this is different.
Full senior panel done in May. Bloodwork was normal, thyroid was normal, blood pressure was normal. He has a heart murmur and some slightly elevated heart values. Echo cardiogram ahead.
The other thing I’ve noticed is that with wet food, he can’t always seem to smell it in a bowl. If using a spoon or plate, he starts eating. This is new.
Because of his age, I will repeat his senior bloodwork in mid-September.
Vet has no suggestions beyond feeding him later.

Complex won’t fix AC issues

Looking for some perspective, as I’m on the other side of the fence here.
I don’t live in the building I manage. I live in an apartment in another city that’s managed by a larger company, and they seem determined to do as little as possible.
Our AC only cools half of our unit. If the thermostat is set to 70°F, the thermostat will read 70, but the living room and bedroom stay around 84°F.
At first they told us, “You have a corner unit, and everything is operating as intended.” After more runaround and some contradictory information, they said we needed to buy a thermometer to prove there was an issue before they’d take any action.
Last year we had a friendly maintenance tech who said that corporate’s philosophy was to do as little as possible. He quit because of the low pay, so now we’re starting from scratch.
We bought the thermometer and documented the temperatures. Now they’ve moved the goalposts again and want us to close every vent except the living room and bedroom (which we already did last year) and submit photo proof again. Why not specify that from the start?
My maintenance and engineering team at work thinks this is ridiculous and can’t believe another management company is handling it this way. Meanwhile, the maintenance staff at my apartment seems genuinely and visibly annoyed that we’re even bringing this to them.
Has anyone dealt with something similar? At what point would you stop having a resident jump through hoops and just send an HVAC contractor? Any advice is appreciated. It’s been too hot to sleep through the night, and we really can’t do another summer like this

TL;DR: Thermostat says 70°F, but our bedroom and living room are still 84°F. Maintenance has made us buy a thermometer and take photos to prove the problem exists, and now wants another round of testing with all other vents closed, instead of actually fixing the issue.

9 days, seller hasn’t shipped

It’s plants, and ETA was 17th-22nd. At this point, they’ll arrive too late to be usable, as seller hasn’t bothered to ship. Will Etsy step in or would I have to wait until 7 days after the latest estimate?

Japan Post & tariffs

I’ve been avoiding buying anything from Japan (not buying USA instead, just not buying) for the year, until now.
I know that DHL has additional fees on top of the stupid tariffs, but I’m torn between Fed Ex which is $35(!) or Japan Post EMS or Air Packet. Fed Ex is tariffs and all fees included, but how does it work for Japan Post options? How do you pay the fees, and is there a way to guesstimate what they would be?
Thank
You!

Celebi build help?

I’m trying to collect the pieces for the elusive Celebi, for my boyfriend as a surprise, but I’m having difficulty following the only screenshot of the instructions that I have seen online. Does anyone have a clear photo of the instructions, or can anyone who’s made it tell me what the colors are?
I can’t identify the top left, the fourth row, and the second to last row. The rest appear to be blue, green, arcanine beige, black, and clear.
Also- is there an alternative option for the arcanine pieces? I can’t seem to find a reasonably priced second one.
I have all of his extra pieces at work and I’m trying to figure out what I need to buy. They’re currently all over my desk and I’m hoping no one walks in. 🙃
Thank you! 🙏

Update: EBay refunds buyer $80 after declining their return.

Update: I declined a return after a buyer bought something that “didn’t fit”, despite the shoe size being clearly labeled. eBay confirmed via phone call that they had no cause to return. They said it didn’t matter if I declined the case or ignored it, that they would not get a refund, and would not be able to open another case.
After I declined it, they opened another doesn’t fit return case, despite customer service claiming it wasn’t possible, and eBay declined it and just…refunded them $80.
I have to imagine that it’s not a reading comprehension issue and they know how to game the system.
I keep the payout, they get the refund and the shoes.
Wild outcome.
I have mostly stopped listing on eBay versus another platform, but customer service really isn’t reliable or accurate.
This sub is more trustworthy than the company themselves, and I appreciated the advice to not trust eBay!
