My mom died of a crack overdose when I was 12. Wish she aborted me would've saved a lot of trouble.
Wish parents thought ahead before conception since my life turned out to be meaningless.

I have contributed nothing in life so it's for the best I never would have been born.
CS4 romance into Reverie
I found it quite disappointing. I'm not so far gone that I expect to get with a fictional character irl, BUT when the ending romance of CS4 leads Rean declaring love to someone I expect it to be followed up on. I may be wrong since Alisa was always the love interest that was advertised, But I chose Laura in CS4 and the only "payoff" was Jusis saying he wished he could bring her (To Ishmelga Rean!) when they go to save Rufus. Really rendering the romance to mean nothing overall. Kind of disappointing, not the main reason I play this series but thought it might be interesting to bring up. Maybe Alisa enjoyers get a better payoff.
Finished Reverie, my thoughts.
I think the absolute highlight of the game is Rufus. He was originally such a villain, he admits to his mechanical self that prior to his journey with LP and N/S, he might've agreed to becoming the supreme leader of Crossbell. At the end of the game Rufus directs everyone's hatred towards him to destroy the tower while he's in it. Of course LP and the gang get a vision about it before it happens. Of course LP N/S and Rufus come to save him. Nice to see a character like Rufus be redeemed in some way and his relationship with Lapis is similar to Jusis/Millium imo
Suspension of disbelief
Re-naming my title because it was originally spoilery, but does anyone else think this game could benefit from some actual stakes? Major characters pretty much never die and serious threats seem non-threatening as a result. I love the optimism and connections of characters in this game, but after playing from Sky to Reverie (Light work for veterans I'm sure) It's just hard to be worried about the main story because you know the good guys will win. (May be true for most anime, but at least you get the illusion of the main villain winning.)
Who's the strongest member in Cold Steel/ Class 7? Gameplay wise.
It has to be Laura right? Rean of course is a given, but for pure damage every single game I've equipped Laura with high strength/domination quarts and it's never disappointed. I only play on hard but the basic enemies get one shotted usually and if you give her force/brigid she never runs out of CP.
The mods are literally nazis
I had a post of Gigi respectfully pegging Kiara and it wasn't approved for being too "explicit" Well I'll explicitly state I want to do anal with Gigi (who gives and receives is up to her).
Just watched The Whale
Good movie. Brendan Fraser is an underrated actor. Could really relate with the main character but instead of consuming food to expedite my death my method is alcohol. Others around him cared about him but still enabled his spiral which happens in my life too. If you want an honest/depressing film to watch I would recommend it.
This girl... she scares me.
The scene when C and crew go to nab the EDF members and C asks who knows how to torture. Nadia starts saying how you have to hurt them slowly at first and if they don't give you information you start cutting off their limbs. But if you cut them off, they might die from blood loss so she would sew them back on one by one to prevent that and to proceed to do that until the tortured body can think and live but can't move their own body because they have no control over their limbs anymore and they become a doll. Of course the captured member(s) tell them everything after that.
That might be the most insane dialogue I've seen in Trails so far. The game is ambiguous if she was serious or not, but she has the gap moe of being cute but also very sinister if need be.
Was going to post a screenshot, but the cutscene had me hooked and i missed it, so trying to recreate in text form lol.
Roll credits what a fantastic game (literally first daydream)
Happy Mother's Day
Is my mother alive? No she died of a crack overdose half my life ago. Is my abusive grandmother alive so I'm expected to spend the day with her and the rest of my estranged family? Yes, unfortunately. Am I going to drink before such an event? (Don't worry folks not driving this time) damn right I am.
Chairs Fuckers, hope your mothers/grandmothers are/were better than mine.
Just finished Cold Steel 4 and his title as "The lionheart emperor" couldn't be more appropriate. He deceived Ishmelga the entire time to draw him into the physical world for a chance for Rean and Class 7 to destroy him. They truly lived to his ideal of being the foundation of the world to vanquish the evil that harbored Erebonia for so long. Are there flaws within the story/ things that make no sense (Students taking the role of the assigned soldiers to the radiant wings comes to mind, in both CS4 and CS2)? Of course! but suspension of disbelief is a requirement in this game and JRPGs in general. He didn't have many standout moments but he has been my favorite antagonist (/protagonist?) in the entirety of Trails thus far so I felt compelled to making a post glazing him.
