I collected these to share with my dad, who's not on Reddit but has a veesee box.
Just finished Season 1 and I'm going to be listening to this one for a while. Storytelling infused with narration from the people who were there and great sound effects all tie together to make each story feel like a movie in your mind. I'm not usually a big military or history buff but this pod has definitely hooked me.
This is an Aussie podcast that tells a different true mystery story each episode. I've learned about ghost ships, mysterious tiles that are somehow embedded into high traffic roadways, an unidentified man found dead on a beach, and the list goes on.
Each episode is so interesting I don't want to fall asleep but so relaxing that I can't help but nod off.
If you haven't checked this out, please do so. It's well produced and researched and my only complaint is that I want more episodes lol
I always hoped he'd get a spin off show of his own. He cared so much about every single victim, no matter who it was.
After watching him on First 48, I always find myself wanting to do a rematch of My Cousin Vinny 😉
Title says it all
While watching S1 E1 of Worst Neighbor Ever on Netflix, I happened to pause it at around the 3 min 29 second mark and what did I see? Uptown Athens! Which is funny because the hometown of the person being interviewed was in Warren County. Also noticed they edited out all the license plates. Anyway kinda cool to see our little town!
I ordered a couple auto parts from the same seller (identical parts, just needed 2). They were listed together as a pair. I received one, the other hasn't moved since hitting the usps new jersey distribution center on the 10th (6 days ago).
What's strange is that the first part (the one we received) was shipped out of Texas. The second part was shipped from New Jersey. How is the same seller shipping identical parts from 2 separate states?
This seems to happen randomly, but usually at least an hour into whatever I'm watching. Anyone else experiencing this? Just started doing this yesterday.
EDIT The box started not just kicking me to the main menu page, but completely turning itself off. I switched out my hdmi cord to a better one, I'll update with any changes. Hopefully it helps somehow, I'm clueless as to what could be happening. I checked my settings and screen timeout is not toggled on in the menu. 🤷♀️
EDIT 2After connecting to a new internet source (Starlink), and replacing the HDMI cord with a new one, my box still kicks out of programming to the main screen, and eventually powers down, completely randomly. I've not seen anyone having posted about this issue before, but it did start happening after downloading the most recent update.
I recently sold an item, buyer paid for shipping which came out of the total paid. Then, I was charged for a shipping label which also came out of the total paid. It feels like shipping was taken out twice on this item but I'm sure there are just dots I'm not connecting here. Can anyone explain this to me like I'm a 6 year old please? Thank you!
I turned off my box for the first time last night and when I booted it up this morning the little pointer/mouse cursor was on the screen. Rebooting the box didn't help. Pushing the mouse button did nothing. Holding down the mouse button and hitting the okay button did nothing. Any suggestions?
