I think alotta people on this Reddit forget ALF is not just about saving “cute” animals

Like personally I think the focus should not be about cracking down on rare cases of animal abuse. Thousands upon thousands of animals are killed everyday for meat and that’s what we need to stop ALF is a vegan far-left ideology not some save the puppy’s bullshit. And if you disagree your genuinely in the wrong place.

What is your experience travelling with a kirpan?

I feel like these days people are so quick to be afraid of weapons of all kind no matter who’s carrying them, and I also feel people often confuse Sikhs for radical Muslims holding a blade for the heck of it. For me I’ve never had any real issue but What’s your experience with travelling with the kirpan? Where you stopped from carrying it? Was it fine and no one cared?

Mata Bhani Daughter, of Guru Amar Das, wife of Guru Ram Das🪯

Mata Bhani was wedded to Guru Ram Das, and was the daughter of Guru Amar Das. She was a shining pillar of devotion to her father, she once saw him meditating on a seat with one of the legs about to break. So she held it with her hand till it bled. Guru Amar Das seeing this told her that it would be her offspring that would attain the next Guruship. She was the one that received the land that was eventually turned into the holy city of Amritsar.

Where should I start in learning Jain scripture?

I know the main text is the tvarta sutra(I think I spelled that wrong) which is part of the Agamas, however I don’t know long it is and I’m already reading other large Hindu scriptures as of now. Are there any shorter Jain scriptures that would be good for beginners.

This game is genuinely art

The campaign alone is beautiful. but all the side quests locations, side plots, enemies and overall beauty this game has to offer is absolutely inexhaustible. As a ancient Egypt lover this game literally hit every mark, do not even get me started on discovery mode. I don’t even believe words can really REALLY describe how awesome this game was; you kind of just have to play it yourself.

I high key feel that pet ownership (in part) is cruel

Like i think that to keep an animal that in nature has a pack, is free roaming and designed for such a type of living in relitive confinement, alone while your away typically no freinds and only out for daily walks just is not okay. What are your thoughts?

How close is Khotan saka to the Scythian language?

I’m trying to write a “Scythian” dictionary and obviously due to the small amount of information we have of the Scythian language it’s impossible without throwing in a better recorded sister-language. In my case I’m using Khotan saka, but if there’s a language closer to it I’ll probably use that. If anyone knows one it would help a bunch!
