Meet the lil rescue kitten we are calling Smidge! She's just a little smidgen of a cat and roughly 5 weeks old! Anyway, We just rescued this little girl on our property. It was likely abandoned. We were up til about 3am the 2nd night she appeared on our porch crying. We had to repeatedly chase off a raccoon that was after her. It kept trying to get under the car she was hiding under. We managed to get her into our outbuilding for the night. The next day after she was still on our porch crying we realized she was abandoned and had to bring her in. We CAN'T afford to take her in permanently, nor do we have the space as we already have 4 cats. She is still very skittish, but warming up to us very quickly. She is SUPER sweet and loves pets and cuddles. If you or someone you know would like a kitten, please reach out. The shelters around here are either "kill shelters" or full, so we don't have anywhere to take her at the moment.

Lost and found is an experience, and an awesome shop in downtown Salisbury. it's a record store, a bit of a curio shop and a bit of thrift! They have open mic nights and it's just a great vibe! You truly never know what you'll find or who you'll meet!

Yesterday while going about my Twitch stream (chamrsdeluxe), a group of firemen on their way back from a call spotted me and reached out during my live stream! It was such a cool experience!

you see it had rained the day before at wv renaissance festival and the paths were a little slippy. BUT my friend is a true thespian and figured the show MUST go on! His determination to continue after the slip made me lose it! I hope you enjoy!

At wv renaissance festival I encountered the alchemist Alli who, shall we say, was less than reputable. The shoddy alchemical work turned poor sir Astor into a g-g-ghost! I got better tho. Tho word on the streets is this "alchemist" as assumed a new identity! claiming to be nobility from Spain of all places! So keep your eyes out, and DON'T BUY POTIONS FROM STRANGE ALCHEMSISTS SITTING ON LOGS!

Lately, with the summer heat, not really being able to wear my armor I've really been missing CastleFaire at Uhuburg Castle in Helen Georgia. If you've never been, CastleFaire is a Renfaire set at the end of January on the castle grounds and the meadow down below. Due to the time of year it's always nice and cold! Absolutely perfect weather for all your best garb. I really can't wait until I can return.

Amazing costumes at WV!

These are just a few of the amazing costumes I saw during my 2 weekends at wv_renaissance_festival ! There were so many I saw and didn't get to film either because I simply forgot, or I was occupied, so if you had an amazing costume and aren't featured, it's my fault entirely!

Last year at WV Renfaire I met this adorable little puppy! WV is full of amazing critters from baby chickens, goats and the occasional pupper!

This skit is an homage to one of my FAVORITE scenes in The Mighty Boosh. The scene where Howard and Vince are stranded on an island and Vince spots a boat. I have been wanting to do this scene for such a long time and I got the opportunity! I hope you enjoy this skit!

The hidden path of WV Renfest!

My friends, WV Renfest is set in an absolutely BEATIFUL location in the mountains of West Virginia. That said however, getting to the Elvenwood at the back of the faire can be a bit difficult as the main path up is VERY steep.

This alternate route, while slightly longer is a steadier incline and overall easier on the feet and will save your precious energy on these hot days! If you're afraid of missing out on what is on the main path, just take the main route on the way back! you'll catch up with all the vendors just the same and it will be easier going DOWN the steep hill. So follow me as I take you through the hidden path beyond the cloister!

Playing KCD2, I really got into enjoying the fashion of 15th century Bohemia! Through playing the game I got to wondering why the chaperon hats resembled some of the hoods you could get. I then learned! The Chaperon hat/liripipe hood was one and the same! A versatile piece of kit, to keep warm/keep elements at bay AND a stylish hat! it's a seriously underrated bit of fashion and I think more people should be wearing them in the Renfaire community!
