Yuumi with assassins, what should I build?

i My biggest struggle is knowing exactly when to abandon the ADC to stick with the assassin if they're strong

Yone Win Conditions & How to Carry — HIGH ELO / DETAILED DISCUSSION

Yone Win Conditions & How to Actually Carry Games

There was a similar post about 3 months ago, but I wanted to bring the discussion back and see how people currently view Yone in the meta after all the item buffs/nerfs and the changes in the overall meta.

I’m mainly interested in the macro and decision-making side of Yone rather than just the standard build.

What do you consider Yone’s actual win condition in the current meta?

Laning Phase

Yone is obviously not one of the strongest laners, so how do you approach the early game?

 • What are you actually trying to accomplish during lane?
 • Which matchups are you willing to contest and which ones are mostly about surviving?
 • How important is maintaining HP and wave state to reach your first major spike?
 • When should you prioritize trading vs simply farming and scaling?
 • What kind of wave state are you looking to create before recalling?

BORK + Tier 2 Boots Spike

How do you play around the BORK + Tier 2 boots attack speed spike?

This seems like one of Yone’s most important early-mid game power spikes, so how aggressively should you play around it?

Do you immediately look to force fights/roams, or is it better to use the spike to establish side-lane pressure and accelerate your farm?

Mid Game / Rotations

Once you have your first 1–2 items, what should Yone actually be doing?

 • When should you leave mid and start playing a side lane?
 • How do you decide between grouping for objectives vs continuing to pressure a side lane?
 • How much CS/farm should you be willing to sacrifice to create pressure?
 • When is it worth giving up a wave to move first to an objective?
 • How do you avoid the classic situation where you split for 2 minutes, your team randomly fights 4v5, and the entire advantage disappears?

Side Lane / Split Push

What is the ideal timing to start permanently playing side lane?

And more importantly, how do you do it efficiently without relying on TP?

For example, how do you manage the side wave relative to the next objective so that you can:

 1. Push the wave far enough to create pressure.
 2. Rotate toward your team in time.
 3. Still be able to return to the side lane afterward.
 4. Avoid getting collapsed on by multiple enemies.

At what point do you consider Yone's side-lane pressure more valuable than simply grouping?

Summoner Spells

For mid, when do you prefer Exhaust vs Ignite?

Is Ignite mainly a lane/kill-pressure choice while Exhaust becomes better when your win condition is surviving and playing through the mid game?

And for top, do you consider TP mandatory, or are there situations where another summoner actually makes more sense?

Itemization

For top lane, what do you think is generally better after BORK:

BORK → Shieldbow

or

BORK → LDR

And what factors make you choose one over the other?

Is LDR still worth prioritizing into relatively squishy teams because of the raw DPS/armor penetration, or do you value Shieldbow's survivability more for actually getting through fights and continuing to DPS?

Overall, I'm trying to understand what Yone's actual game plan should look like from minute 1 to the end of the game.

Not just "farm → get items → teamfight", but what decisions actually allow a Yone player to consistently convert his spikes into a win.

Would especially like to hear from Master+ Yone players about their thought process regarding lane state, recalls, side-lane timing, objective setup, and when they decide that grouping is more valuable than split pressure.

Yone win conditions and how to carry with him

Let's talk about Full Clear.

At the beginning of the year, the jungle meta shifted heavily back toward full clearing and optimizing clear speed. Now that almost everyone is doing it, do you still think full clearing is the best overall strategy?

Or has it become so standard that you need something more to consistently gain an edge? Besides the obvious answer of having better macro and game knowledge, what do you think separates the best junglers from everyone else now?

Hail of Blades + The Collector first item?

Good evening, first of all, I apologize for the translated English.

I have a question. Lately, I've been researching OTP Viego profiles, and I came across ttvperry building The Collector as their first item for Viego. I've tried it before and find it interesting, especially with HOB. I'd like a more open opinion on this combination, avoiding Krakens and going for Collector > Shieldbow.
