IST OR ANXIETY?

I was diagnosed with anxiety since 2014.

Since then i've done almost every year cardiologist appointments because of anxiety ( even with beta-blockers ) , ER visits, etc.

I've done holters 3 times. And it wasn't until 3 months ago that they told me about IST. But... i don't know if I want to have that at all or maybe I dont have ut at all?

My heart rate while sleeping average was 77, with the lowest being 58. but i have spikes to 120. ( but I did the test while I was going trough a difficult time with " anxiety " )

I was off bisoprolol for quite a time and didn't felt bad at all, but I did have a relapse and after that I started taking it again.

I've noticed that my HR increases everytime i think somethings wrong and viceversa too.

My Dr. Told me i won't die from this... but idk if this IST diagnosis is due to anxiety or an actual dysautonomia , and i was thinking it was anxiety all this time...

( I can even calm my symptoms if I distract myself , or when I feel somewhere safe, I feel better too )

EDIT : They did an ECHO, stress test, EKG, and Holter .. everything came back normal except of course the holter

Is it safe to take Trelegy 200 and Escitalopram 10mg? 28 years old

I have anxiety.. 2 weeks ago, i started with 10mg and after 4 days i was pretty sure i was dying. So my Dr. Lowered it to 5mg. and I went recently to cardiologist because I read about a serious QT prolongation using both drugs.

I also went 4 months ago to a full checkup to the cardiologist, and the only abnormal thing was an Inapropiate sinusal Tachycardia.

4 days ago, i went back to get an EKG, My cardiologist told me that my heart was ok, and i'm not in danger of having a heart attack, but he also told me that he does not want me to take that medicine since is not for me ( im not depressed ) .

But my psychiatrist insists that I should not if i have no qt prolongation. But I am still scared of the side effects on the QT combining both meds will appear once i get to 10mg

High LDL of 225 at 28 year old

I have had high ldl at least since 2022. ( first time I checked ) with 24 years old.

Im now 28 and my levels are higher 225ldl. So I may need statins, but my doctor told me 4 months ago to wait a bit longer with lifestyle changes. Y wont be able to take the blood test until 2 more weeks. But is already the 4th month. I am scared I may not make it to that day

Also, i went to cardiologist because im a cardiophobic and I am diagnosed with panic attacks. Everything with my heart came back normal at that time

Im a very skinny but sedentary person.

No smoker - No drugs - Normal BP - No Diabetes

But still I feel like I will die soon. I took an ekg 2 days ago and it was normal.

Really high ldl ( 225 ) at 28yo

I may have familial hipercolesterolemia. The first time i found out my ldl was high was on 2022 ( with 170ldl ) and now i am at 225ldl...

My doctor told me 4 months ago to do diet and exercise. And then we'll see if meds are needed

I was taking mirtazapin ( maybe it was because of it ? ) so i took it off and i have my next blood test in 2 weeks. I am afraid that i may not live long enough for that time.

4 minths ago everything looked fine with my cardiologist and i was diagnosed with anxiety ( so this clearly made it worse )

Edit :

I am a very sedentary person but i try eating the best I can... trigs. were normal with 80. and hdl was low with 46.

no diabetes, no smoker and very skinny.. VERY SKINNY...

im also cardophobic

4 years working with a Jr. Position and paid less

Hello! So I have this question, I started this job with no career at all, so they gave me a chance ( I did take online courses ) and I was actually paid a VERY VERY low income, but i accepted it. But now after 4 years, I have my own end to end projects, I do more things that were not on my contract in the first place, and i now have a new college which Is working with me and in a way I am training him on what to do and that stuff.

But even with that, I still have a Jr. Position and this = getting the same net income than the new hires, ( and that because of my bonuses ) without them, I would earn even less than the new ones.

I do have a new offer now and I am planning to talk to my boss about it, but idk how to do it in a proper way.

Went to cardiologist, he told me i'm fine but I don't believe it

I went to a cardiologist because I started feeling awful after starting escitalopram ( day 9 today )

He told me My QT was normal ( I am taking 2 medicines with QT advertising ) and I am not in inmediate risk of a heart attack.

But something in me is telling me to not believe him and I feel like I wasted my money...

Even more because he told me to stop taking escitalopram and to take homeopathy instead

28 year old male, is it safe to take lexapro + trellegy 200. Having symptoms. diagnosed with panic attacks and asthma

Is it safe to combine Escitalopram 10mg and Trellegy 200? I started a few days back ( 6 days ) taking escitalopram 10mg because of my panic attacks, but the past 2 days have been awful, in terms of symptoms. I believe ( hope ) it was anxiety but they felt like I was dying.

Palpitations, dizzyness, nausea, fear of dying, feeling cold inside my body, fainting sensation, and chest discomfort.

My neurologist told me he thinks it's all anxiety but I should go to take an ekg.

( 3 months ago I got a full heart checkup - holter - ekg - stress test - echo ) and beside a sinusal tachycardia, my doctor told me everything was ok and I should seek psychiatric help

But in a research, I found out is not safe to take together ESCITALOPRAM + TRELLEGY because of the QT heart prolongation , because it can cause heart problems.

What should i do, im scared

( is symbicort a better option? Should I change to sertraline? )

Feeling worse with Escitalopram

I was having anxiety problems for a while now, and even though they where awful it was just temporally awful. I went to my doctor and told me to take escitalopram 10mg, and so I did. And on day 4, I was driving to the office and had anxiety that got worse and worse. Until I got to the point where I literally called my mom and told her I needed an ambulance, she tried calming me down and eventually It faded away ( no ambulance needed ) today I've been feeling awful for about 6 hours, with spikes troughout the day.

Symptoms are

Fear - palpitations - chest pain - feeling like fainting - dizzyness - back pain - feeling like I can't breath - Inside body cold feeling - nausea - lost appetite

To name some. I called my doctor and told me it was normal and I should reduce to 5mg the doses, but I want to give up this med.

I've been taking 10mg escitalopram for 4 days now. I am taking them at night at the moment. Switching to the morning later, but if my anxiety was bad, now is worse. It's been progressing day by day.

Today I was about to call 911

Heart palpitations - weakness - feeling like fainting - nausea - and a sensation of coldness running though my body.

That maximum point lasted like 5 minutes, then I start feeling tired and of course, scared on how soon is coming back,

It came back almost 3 hours later, it lasted like 3 minutes, I am at work and can't leave.

My doctor told this side effects are expected, but didn't told me how much they last?
