For context I’m the kind of guy that once I finish a game I don’t really replay them, so I was wondering if there’s any reason to play one over the other.
Like is WOTC set after the base game, or is it just the regular game but more?
Since the main group are going to be investigators they work with the police instead of the gothic stories people thought they were, what do you think the theme of going to be for their personas?
Could they be famous investigators or possibly references to some kind of mystic thing?
I’m curious what you all think.
Basically I’ve seen people have mixed responses about the Protagonist’s work as cops, but I think quote from the YouTuber Sir Superhero has my opinion on it, I can’t remember it word for word so I’ll paraphrase it.
I understand being suspicious about what the police does with its money and obsessive force, but I think fighting literal demons is an expectable use of government and police resources.
For those that don’t know, the Sturddle Fish is a fish scientist accidentally made when trying to save Russian Sturgeon, won’t get into the specifics of how but the Sturddle Fish was the result because they made a mistake while doing it.
The thing is they’re technically man made, since they wouldn’t exist without human interaction would a spirit of it count as man made?
Basically I’m curious how you guys think they’re going to introduce and do with the other game lines. For now I want to focus on the two prominent ones that were in Horse’s prophecy that being the Fay, most likely through the Changlings, and the Epholem ( probably spelled wrong) which would be from Demon the Fallen.
For the Changling chapters I see them teaming up with a group of them to hunt the Thallain, seams like the easy way to go. For the Fallen chapters I’m not as sure, though they’ll probably be the end of the series with a climatic giant battle due to their power. The other that comes to mind is Mummy, if the theory that D is one is proven right obviously.
I’m curious what you guys think they’ll do with them, and feel free to add how they might do Wraith or Mage as well.
Basically I’m just curious what’s the chances of him being an Unseelie Troll, this came about because of Chapter 6 and how he’s willing to go into the Umbra to repay his debt to Martin.
I don’t think they’re going to do it, but I’m just curious what others think of the idea.
Edit: From those that have more experience have made reasons as to why it probably isn’t the case, it just popped into my head and I kind of just wanted to get it out there.
I’ve seen Mortal Thor a couple weeks ago and thought Sigurd Jarlson could work as inspiration for a Changeling character.
Initially I thought of Troll since he protects innocents, has a strong sense of honor and honestly physically he fits how they’re described, but I was wondering if there was a Changeling that would fit more.
So like it says I’m a casual fan, I don’t play but I’ve watched lore videos and seen Hunter the Parenting. I have two questing I’m curious about, about the Garou specifically.
Could a Garou make a deal with a spirit of Silver to enhance their attacks, like their claws and fangs could affect Werwolves the same as silver weapons.
Could a Garou and another shifter make a viable offspring that could have a child. I know two Garou make a Métis which is infertile and deformed due to essentially magic inbreeding, I was just curious lore says if that would actually work or not.
I might ask for more lore stuff in the future but this is the main questions I have right now. I look forward to learning about this world through those that have grater experiences than me.
