How to make my map look less Rectangular?

I love this map (bar certain parts in the west) but I keep feeling like the geography is far too rectangular, any ideas on how to improve it?

(In terms of geography there are two main mountain ranges where the white splotches are) Steppe from Nitovir South to kalnhorn and Forest covering most of the northwest, the rest is a mixture of plains and woodlands)

How to check if a key is released in the new input system in the update method?

I've been having trouble finding this but I am trying to check if a key is released in the update method using unity's new input system, i'm trying to switch over my platformer code and this is my last obstacle in that, if I could have some help then that would be greatly appreciated

Whats the verne Vicky 3 lore?

As much as I am a verne enjoyer and obviously know the glorious timeline after the 1444 divergence of Matt Sil Minar where Verne achieves peak Vernissage and resists domination by the Anbennarians and spreads glorious Vernemen Culture to the unmoustachioed world whilst also destroying the lorentish scum and the Al*nic Wexotards, I would like to understand the inglorious timeline of Jahan Sil Bennon and how Verne managed to fall from such grace despite remanants of its colonies all around inglorious unmoustachio'd Halann. I heard somewhere that it sold its soul (and of course its moustaches due to lack of them in game) to the vanbury steel guild but I was unable to confirm on the wiki. Any news about what happened to verne after 1444?

A question for glorious vernemen only, do we hate on all al*nics or just the perfidious wexotards

Glorious VERNE will always destroy the inglorious WEXOTARDS, however, are the GAWEDI our glorious friends due to their severe hatred of the treacherous LORENTISH scum? This is a question only glorious VERNEMEN with glorious MOUSTACHES, no inglorious LORENTISH traitors, AL*NICS, destructive WEXOTARDS, Single-minded BUSILARDI, or god forbid you are a horrible PEARLSGOONER.
