How can I encourage my 6 year old son to be more inclusive of girls?

My son loves soccer, one can say excessively. Before school his whole life was about firetrucks and now it's all soccer. It seems that his main value in people is their soccer skill. There's a kid in his grade that is phenomenal and considerably better than other kids in soccer. Unfortunately, this kid is not the kindest, and his dad is a big sexist prick.

I have noticed my son using certain language at home that clearly comes from school. He has started to avoid certain colours because they are girly, or didn't want to invite girls to his birthday.

We were visiting a friend's house who have a same age girl and in that environment once he got passed his posturing he started playing house with the girl and had a great time. I feel like his anxiety around how other people perceive him is really holding him back from being himself and having fun. He is too obsessed with pleasing the soccer kid, and worrying about what he thinks.

I know the problem is not the soccer kid. Every school has their own version. Wondering if people have any advice? If this is just a phase as at this age they become hyper aware of others judgement. Also how do you encourage more socialization with other gender without it feeling forced.

My bike was hit yesterday while parked. What are my options?

Yesterday after work when I came to ride my bike back home, I noticed that the back seat was completely deformed and broken. It was parked on the sidewalk attached to a traffic sign .The Yuba monkey bars are pretty strong so my guess is that it was hit by a car, likely a delivery truck. I just learned that the replacement would cost about $300. I called my home insurance and there is a $1,000 deductible so no luck there. What other options do I have other than accepting my fate and buying the Yuba replacement? Is it worth following up with the police?

Recommendations on online shops for bike parts and accessories

I used to mostly rely on MEC but frankly with the change of ownership their quality and service has really suffered. Where do you folks buy replacement parts that's not amazon? Is chain reaction still a thing?

What would happen if RBC employees formed a union?

I imagine the bank would work hard to intimidate and sabotage it. But would it be even possible? What are legal ramifications.

What would you use between deck joist and flat roof to protect the roof and better drainage?

I'm building a deck over a slightly sloped flat roof. Was originally going to use pedestals but the final height doesn't give me enough room. The slope runs both directions and there's a parapet at the end so I need to also keep the joist raises for proper drainage.

I'm considering using rubber but can't seem to find a good enough option. Maybe I'm overthinking it but I don't have a lot of experience to know my judgement is good. I have see options like this, but haven't been able to find something similar in Canada

Glass Railing Clamp

I'm installing a glass railing for a client in Ontario. I'm working with a very low parapet (3.5") from the ground and the client insists on having it fascia mounted. I found this product on Amazon that would be perfect but I need an American or Canadian certified option that would pass inspection. Does anyone here know of any supplier that would have something like this?

Waterproofing railing posts that will sit on flashing

My partner is really worried about installing posts for railings over the flashing. While I know this flashing gives us the best waterproofing, but I'm not convinced it is such a big concern specially if we seal the holes with silicon, caulk over the screws and even caulk over the cap that goes around the post.

Are there better ways to prevent water leaks? What is common when it comes to installing posts or railings over flashing?

We don't have enough height to install the posts on the deck itself, since it is a third-floor deck, and code requires 6" screws minimum. We also live in Ontario where it snows a lot in winter.
