GED scores- If I can do it you can too

I (26M) felt like I was too dumb to pass the GED tests before advice and encouragement from a coworker who is like an adopted grandma to me. I was terrified especially of math, but I did the adult ed/GED course at my local community college and the teachers were great!

What are these bugs that are always by my window sill? Near Saint Louis.

I am near a small wooded area, if that's relevant.

Am I wrong to assume this?

I (26m) really want a long term relationship with a woman who aligns with me politically. It's a dealbreaker for me. I'll try to keep this from being too long. After getting out of what I would describe as my family's super conservative homeschool culty beliefs I now pretty much align with where Bernie Sanders is politically, if that gives you a good idea of where I am. Especially after living surrounded with those sorts of oppressive feeling beliefs for so much of my life, find someone equally progressive is important to me.

But, when I see someone describe themselves as moderate or apolitical on one of the apps (Hinge, Tinder, Bumble etc.) I take that to mean they're actually conservative/republican/MAGA but don't want to say so. After having been around so many people in real life who described themselves as moderate or centrist or independent only for it to come out later that they're a huge supporter of ICE, or something similar, I now automatically assume conservative when I see that. Am I wrong though?
