10% and companion could be used on the Crescent in coach and the upgrade is only good for the Carolininan if using GRO as your station.

Wife and I visited Chicago last month on Amtrak. One thing we did was a White Sox game and they had a promo that did not happen (Bobble head or something like that.) so we went to our game but White Sox gave us two free tickets (lower section about 30 rows behind home plate.) that would go for $80 a piece.

We are back home now and will not get to Chicago to use the tickets. I tried to give them to AFT (my union) and the UNITE HERE local (we stayed in a unionized hotel) but both locals have not gotten back with me. I imagine they think this is a scam but all I need is a phone number to send you some free tickets.

I would like to get them to an AFT member or UNITE HERE member or IUE-CWA (my father's union) but heck I just hate to see them go to waste.

You have to be a union member and promise to use unionized transit to get to the game (no gig rides), root for the White Sox (union players), not be too rough on the umps (they are union), purchase some Cracker Jack (union, and I think Teamsters) from the concession workers (UNITE HERE). For a Cubs game these tickets would run about $450, and for Dodgers about ($4,500) Decent tickets I think.

I know this sounds like a scam, and that is exactly what a scammer would say but this is legit.

During the hot part of summer in the SE US I will not be driving my 2022 Escape PHEV for about three weeks or maybe even four. I will not be near it physically to do anything with it actually but others will be checking in on our pet so they could do something if they really need to do so.

I assume charging to 1000% and being done is the best bet. I was going to unplug and place the charging cord inside my house while the car is outside. Should I go for a different charge level and should I trickle charge while I am away from the car? I was going to leave it will a full tank of gas as well.

I assume nothing I do is going to make THAT big of a difference but I did want to ask best practices and what the result would be if I don't follow best practices. And we generally still charge at 120V to 100% even with the recall. I want every mile of EV I can get.

When I purchased my Bolt last September I set up the charging networks inside the myChevrolet app. Then last week GM sent me an email about the Energy Pass.

All that was set up seems to be the same. What was added or removed to make this different than what was there before. I could plug and charge at a few networks and now I can plug and charge with a few of the same networks it seems.

I was dropping off some excess recycling at the White Street Landfill and was given a sheet of paper that explains that starting 1 June 2026 all individuals unloading at the transfer facility or the White Street Landfill will need "closed-toe shoes or boots (absolutely NO filp-flops or sandals and High-visibility safety vest or reflective outwear."

I am not at the White Street Landfill often but I am there often enough that I would not want to be turned away for non compliance.

Does anyone with solar panels wash their panels and if so do you have a recommendation for someone local?

I have an old pair of panels on my storage building that I use off grid to charge batteries for my yard equipment and have been doing that for 8 years or so. The storage building is 10 feet off the ground so I don't mind doing that. The building is under a tall pine tree and the pine sap mixed with lots of pollen and the panels clearly do better after I clean them. Those panels really do get filthy.

But I have now installed solar on my two story roof and there is no way i am getting up there given the height, slope of roof, my age, etc. The house is not under trees but I know a few people with solar that do clean their panels (1 story house so they use a long brush) and it seems to make a difference. I am not in the market yet for cleaning the panels on my house but wanting to start thinking about this and looking at any recommendations. I don't want some fly by night company that will damage the panels and then I am worse off.

Seems this would be a great business for a big enough drone that could handle a water hose and a squeegee.

How many scored a ton of coupons at the last game of the season.

We had corner seats a few rows above where the visitors enter the ice. Since we purchased from the box office we avoided TicketMaster fees so to tickets for $16 a piece. We had about $32 in coupons I have used for breakfast so net cost is down to about $1 a ticket. Not a bad deal.
