I'm usually not one to take pictures of scenery, and when I do, the picture usually doesn't do it justice. This was a rare exception.

What's the furthest planned event in your life?

I've got dinner planned for tonight. That's about as far as my planning goes. What's the furthest out plan you have in your life? Do you have winter holiday things planned already? Do you have a vacation booked 5 years from now? Have you made funeral arrangements for yourself?

Videos with those "one word at a time" subtitles are unwatchable

I've been seeing this trend more and more on shorts, and it's annoying as fuck. Seems like an editing trend that's really trying to cater to low attention spans. Some say it's a psychological manipulation technique that tricks people into watching the video for longer by way of tiny dopamine releases. Personally, it tricks me into clicking away immediately.

Best of Let's Game It Out #1

I've been binge watching LGIO the only way I binge watch anything: in Premiere so I can make myself a compilation. This guy is so fucking funny. Haven't watched him in years. Vid titles are in the messy file names at the bottom. This currently isn't posted anywhere else and I'm not promoting anything. It's just for fun. Don't know if I'll make or post anymore of these, but maybe.

Why would someone carry jewelry with them in their purse?

My grandma once explained to me why she doesn’t carry cash, and thus writes checks to pay for things. It’s in case she gets robbed or something, which makes sense I guess.

But then she told me that she does, however, carry all of her most expensive jewelry with her at all times, in her purse. She is not particularly wealthy, but she’s probably talking about at least a few grand worth of jewelry, maybe more.

I pressed her to explain why, and all she would tell me is that it’s “an old lady thing” and I wouldn’t understand.

Anyone else heard of people doing this? What’s the logic behind it?
