Norwegian looking for options in EU

Hi guys,
Im a Norwegian citizen. I was dreaming of going to the US to study my whole life, but due to recent developments in EU and the chaos in the US, I have to expand my options. I want to study something among mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or engineering physics. I want to do propulsion or fusion R&D when I grow up, or both. Recently graduated. I want to pursue all the way from bachelors, masters to PHD, in different unis and focuses of course.

I am well aware of the options in the UK (oxbridge&imperial). But besides that, there is Delft, which is brilliant. What else is there? I've heard of Polytecnico Milano, is it better than, for example, Georgia Tech? Would X polytechnique be fitting? How is Torino? Are any of these comparable to the US, and then the UK? I value research enviroment and internships. I might work either in the US or Switzerland, or idk, I dont know how the world will be in 10 years.
I don't know if i should stay or go. Im going through a confused and rough period.
Thanks

I loved this app, I used it a lot before. But now they decreased the amount of blocks you can have on free tier per notion site, and I can't even further develop my previous sites/templates (

Edit: Problem resolved! Thanks

As someone who has been in all levels of belief/disbelief, I love humans, beliefs and freedom, and I will fight for it till the end. I love it when people express their belief or lack of it in their way when proper, regardless of what label it is under. As my literature teacher said, "you should learn to look through different glasses of criticism". I personally dont see any difference between these two, and Im proud of both!

Got rejected by UCL Mecheng, although i had the grades, maybe the bare minimum requirements, but i get it, im an intl. I couldnt apply to cambridge, oxford or imperial due to grades as well. I think I might take a gap year, but if not, which one is the choice? i dont know how cities in the UK, the teaching and industrial connections are. Im interested in astronautics and propulsion.
