Need help building a skincare routine for acne + oily skin [acne] [routine]

Hey everyone! I’ve attached some pictures of my skin for reference.

I’m looking for a proper skincare routine to help reduce my acne, control my oily skin, and eventually get that healthy, glowing skin.

I recently started an internship, so I can afford to invest in good skincare products. I’m not looking for the cheapest routine, just something that’s actually worth the money and suitable for my skin.

Would really appreciate product recommendations, routine suggestions, and any tips on what I should/shouldn’t be using. 🙏

Oily skin + breakouts. ChatGPT suggested Adapalene & Niacinamide, need advice

Hey guys!

I’m pretty new to all this and honestly a bit lost. My skin gets super oily throughout the day, and I’m constantly dealing with breakouts and clogged pores (attached a few pictures so you can see what I mean).I just started an internship, so I finally have a little budget to set aside for a proper routine. I ran my situation through ChatGPT to see where to start, and it told me to get Adapalene and Niacinamide.I haven't bought anything yet because I wanted to get real human opinions first. Is that ChatGPT recommendation actually solid for someone just starting out, or should I be looking at something else entirely? pls give me suggestions as what should I do . my goal is to have a clean skin and glowy skin.

New to reps – Prada eyeglasses to India (Direct from China vs. domestic buy for 7-8k?)

Hey everyone,

I’m pretty new to the rep scene and could really use some advice from the veterans here. I’ve been wanting to get a pair of Prada eyeglasses for a long time now, and I’m finally ready to pull the trigger.

Since I'm based in India, I have a few specific questions about the best way to go about this:

1. The Cost Breakdown (China Route vs. Middlemen)

If I were to buy a high-quality (high-tier) rep directly from a well-known trusted glasses seller in China (like Alan, Vincent, or Aooko), what does the actual total cost look like shipped to India? I know the frames usually run around $40–$60, but what should I expect for shipping and potential customs clearance?

2. Is 7k–8k INR from these sources a rip-off?

I’ve reached out to a few middlemen here in India who claim they can source "1:1 quality" for around ₹7,000 to ₹8,000 INR. My major dilemma is: should I risk the China route and order myself, or just pay the premium to these guys to avoid customs headaches? If doing it myself ends up costing ₹5k–₹6k anyway with shipping, maybe the convenience is worth it? Let me know what you think.

3. Quality Check (QC) – What to look out for?

For Prada eyewear specifically, what are the dead giveaways for low-quality reps? I want to make sure the acetate feels premium and the branding isn't totally off. What details should I closely inspect when I get QC photos?

4. Anyone have them in hand or can source?

If anyone here is based in India and has a high-quality pair in hand they’re looking to part with, or if you know a highly reliable direct route that safely clears Indian customs, please slide into my DMs!

Appreciate any guidance you guys can give to a beginner. Thanks in advance! also give me a estimated cost and what would a high end quality cost?

Bank mistakenly charged back my CFA Level 1 payment during a fraud dispute. Am I screwed?

Hey everyone,

I’m in a massive panic. I registered for the November 2026 CFA Level 1 exam during the Early Bird window, paid, and booked my center.

A few days ago, my credit card was compromised with fraudulent transactions. The bank reversed the fraud, but they made a massive mistake and accidentally flagged and reversed my legitimate CFA payment too, causing a chargeback.

I come from a humble background, and saving up for the Early Bird fee was a huge deal. If my registration gets cancelled or if I'm forced to pay the standard fee, it’s going to be a massive financial hit that I can't really afford.

I have already emailed them explaining that it was 100% a bank error and that I'm ready to repay immediately.

Has anyone else faced such an issue, or what can be the solution to this? Are they flexible if I provide proof of the bank's mistake, or are they completely rigid?

Thanks in advance.
