Why 1 ton is priced higher than 1.5

Same model, same year, same star rating. Still 1.5 ton is priced 7k lesser than 1 ton. What's the reason?

Mahesh tiffens review.

Just been to the mahesh egg dosa centre.

My review : it's good but could have been great if they used putnalu karam powder(roasted bengal powder) instead of just karam powder it would have added more heft and flavour to dosa

Dosa is nice and crispy ... Tasted good

Peanut/putnalu chutney is good but I like tomato chutney more.

Overall i would rather 3.8 to 4 out of 5.

Worth the visit.

Prices are also decent .. like 35 rs for single egg and 55rs for double. But I felt double is more pricer.

Korrakodu dam

Hey everyone, I'm thinking of heading to Korrakodu Dam this weekend! If you're up for it, just drop a comment.

We can get to know each other, and if we hit it off, we can plan something together. It would be awesome to have a group rather than just one or two people.

A bit about me: I'm a 28-year-old guy.

I'd much rather go by bike than car, and definitely not by bus.

Any insights about korrakodu dam is welcome.

Flipkart fraud

Flipkart cancelled my order after 10 days, promised 150 Super Coins if I reordered, and now says there is “no such provision.”

I ordered a Royal Enfield bike tank cover from Flipkart for around ₹536 + ₹9 platform fee. It was supposed to be delivered within 3–4 days, but I waited for 10 days.

Then Flipkart cancelled the order, saying there was a seller-side issue.

As compensation, I was told that I would receive 150 Super Coins, provided I reordered the same product within 10 days of the cancellation.

So I did exactly that:

- Original order: ~₹536 + ₹9 platform fee

- Waited: 10 days

- Order cancelled due to seller-side issue

- Promised compensation: 150 Super Coins

- Condition: Reorder the same product within 10 days

- I reordered it and paid the applicable charges again

- Product delivered on September 22

- 150 Super Coins: never credited

After waiting two days, I contacted customer support. And the response completely contradicted what I had originally been told:

«“There is no such provision, so we cannot credit the Super Coins.”»

Then why was I specifically told to reorder within 10 days to receive them?

The customer-support experience was another headache. It was extremely difficult to reach an actual human. The AI support kept giving me predefined/AI-generated responses, regardless of what I explained. I tried multiple ways to get the issue escalated, but kept getting the same automated responses.

I was so frustrated that I eventually even made statements about harming myself just to get connected to a customer-care executive. Even that didn't immediately work.

A customer shouldn't have to reach that level of frustration just to speak to a human about an unresolved issue.

I'm posting this because I want to know if anyone else has experienced something similar with Flipkart — especially where compensation was promised for a cancelled order and then denied after the customer fulfilled the conditions.

I have screenshots of the original order, cancellation, 150 Super Coin compensation/condition, second order, delivery and customer-support conversation.

₹150 isn't really the point here. The issue is that I fulfilled the condition Flipkart gave me, and now Flipkart is saying that the promised compensation doesn't exist.

Appreciation post

I don't know how many people use oneplus watch as a navigator instead of phone while driving motor bike.

I don't like hanging my phone on the handle bar of the bike... Cuz I feel it's risky and also it sucks up phone battery alot faster.

I always use my watch(specifically op watch 2r). Earlier I used galaxy watch 4 classic. Gw4c used to giveup after 1 hour of maps...it literally heats up watch to an extent I have to remove it or else it will burn my skin.

Yesterday I planned a trip covering over 400km. In one day. So I started riding with 100% battery in watch... And i was worried whether it can show map(AOD) without giving up, so I already kept it's charger in my pocket for emergency charge.

But to surprise... Man o mam it performed excellent

It just used 35% of battery for 7 hours of maps. I would say this is the best watch , atleast for me.

Study help for UPSC preparation

Among these two options, which do you believe is more effective for veterans or candidates already familiar with the fundamentals of UPSC preparation?

  1. Studying from Home:

    * Offers a peaceful environment.

    * Household chores (e.g., food, laundry) are typically managed.

    * Provides the comfort and warmth of home.

  2. Studying from Coaching Hubs (Study Rooms):

    * Benefits from peer pressure, which can be motivating.

    * Provides emotional peer support.

    * Ensures ready access to study materials and mentors.

Please include any additional factors I may have overlooked and offer your recommendation.

Also let me know negatives of each scenario.

Battery health

Battery guru is showing my battery health as 94% based on a full charge session from 13% to 100%.

While my phone saying 99%.

Which one is more accurate and true.

Mains is just 15 days away

I know I won't qualify the mains this time. It feels like a herculean task for me. Anthro is half done. Gs3 and gs 4 are half done.... Didn't have a look at gs 2 and gs 1.

So just wasting time by playing games so as to distract my anxiety attacks
