I started off so rough. I lost my entire first litter and felt like i messed up. My mate was very low tier, causing all my larger litters to fall ill, and thus me reloading at least twice to save my pups. I managed to keep my entire 2nd and 3rd litter alive, and love watching my pack grow! This game has so many realistic features, low/high diversity mates, pup illness and even death, optionally scarce food, the raids from other wildlife & wolves, random radio collaring in winter, the injuries, etc. I love all the small details put into making you think & act like a wolf. I used to play this game years ago on my grandmas computer, and begged to play daily. Being able to play now with updated graphics, the raising pups, its all so satisfying and fun to play. I’m so glad i was able to bounce back and now have a pack of 10. I don’t get big litters due to my low quality mate, but i can’t say i will complain about that right now. My pups have some decent dark coat diversity throughout, and i can’t wait to see how much more this game has to offer. I wish i could afford the game packs right now, but eventually i’ll get them and i’m sure enjoy things even more:) sorry about the blabbering, i love this game 🫪🫶🏻

Seeded with gravel & sponge filter, ghost fed yesterday and this is where my testing is at. Should i do a water change once my nitrates get higher? Or just wait it out. I’m on day 3

I started my betta tank about 4 months ago now. Fully planted. I have 1 betta, 5 khuli loaches, a clown pleco and a couple of shrimp in a 10 gal. The water params are on and off doing well since my tank had an ich breakout. I had to treat the entire tank, because i wasn’t sure where it came from, and the whole tank was at risk. I broke my cycle, and now I’m dealing with a bacterial bloom after having to use carbon and switch back to new media. (New bio balls and floss bc i don’t want any ich to survive) My fish all seem to be doing well, i have lost a few shrimp. I did use ich x, which proved to do well with my plants, but most of my shrimp were lost which also fucked my cycle. Also having to change the water everyday with no filter media sucked. My betta is growing better fins, and looking amazing, but the water is so cloudy and gross looking. I added some seachem clarity, so i’m hoping to see improvements, but really this is mostly a rant. I’m just so really crazy about how i spent hundreds of $$ trying to keep this tank alive 😭😭. I cut the lights unless i’m working on it at this point which isn’t good for the plants but not good to clear the bloom either. I am STRESSINGG. Does this just happen to all new fish keepers? I cycled my tank for 5 weeks before adding fish and everything was fine until ich. I hate fish diseases ugh. I hope everything will get better. I love seeing all the beautiful tanks here, and i hope someday i can do the same
