Showing y’all my first sfx midterm 🧟‍♀️🧟‍♀️

I loved the results but I straight up couldn’t get myself to sleep the day before from the nerves and excitement lmao

I just kept dreaming that I’d run out of time during the test, but thankfully ended up finishing faster than I expected so yay to that

How to start using dating apps

Ngl this is very much a no glue, no borax type of situation but

I recently have been interested in getting back into dating, and since I’m not really attracted to anyone within my social groups I thought it would be better to use dating apps for the first time and pass some time dating around but…

I hateeee taking photographs of myself. I always find it awkward to do so, so most of them are just silly pics or simple selfies and I feel like that won’t really bring much (or any lmao) traction to myself. Especially since a lot of girls’ dating profiles seem to be so pretty and well curated

So to the socially awkward girls out there, how have you done it? Or have you found other ways to meet guys that I haven’t figured out yet? lol

My family can't tell when I'm joking/not being serious?

Its happened all of a sudden these few days.

During the week I was doing my hair and my parents came into my bedroom to tell me that they were heading to bed and as they were telling me goodbye my dad leaned in for a hug and said "Don't touch it!" and laughing it off after so he could tell i was just messing with him but instead my dad stormed off and told me i was being cruel to him.

And the same thing this morning. My brother ate all my food while I was away for the weekend and ended up grocery shopping and buying some food for him so he doesn't eat my things again. When he saw I bought some food for everyone he thanked me and I said, "Just don't eat my food again lol" and laughed it off, and I soon as I said that he jsut answered back, "You're really gonna make me fight you over this shit?" No?? I wasn't being serious, I just don't want you finishing my food? It's not a big deal I'm just telling you I don't like it??

So like, am I doing something wrong? I've always had this sort of playfull, joking around attitude to me so I don't know why I set my brother and my dad off when they've laughed it off before and have even joked back about it for years

It's also not an attitude that I give to them only, I joke around like this with everyone and don't really get negative reactions (and if I do, I just don't do it again with that person cause I don't want to come off as mean) I just find it weird that all of a sudden it seems to have flipped a switch on some of my family members attitude

Obviously if I'm in the wrong, I'll change up my attitude around them, but I just find it weird since I've been like this pretty much all my life :s

I think I have a phobia of plants? Or something similar

I feel like the simplest way to put it is as a fear of plants, but like it’s not?? I have a ton of plants there’s nothing about them that freak me out

So here’s a list of things I know set me off: Very dense plant roots, visibly veiny leaves, very large and dense plants - it’s not exclusive to plants though things like feather star fishes, seaweed, hair clumps, sea urchins, will also make me feel really uneasy and grossed out? Maybe it’s the visual noise that comes from these objects but I’ve never been able to pin it down
But then again, something like a jellyfish, which I would say is similar visually doesn’t make me feel anything so??

I’m trying to figure out what this phobia could be since giving it a name and seeing what other things can set it off can just give me more peace of mind, instead of feeling like I will randomly freak out one day lol

int across but I get why that isn’t allowed lol

How to make curls more defined, instead of fluffy?

So I've been struggling to make curly hair and render it out nicely. It either ends up looking too fluffy like it does right now, or I define the curl shape way too much and the loose hair at the bottom ends up looking too rough and not looking coherent to the silhouette of the hair (;__ ;)

I also tried to use the second image for reference as to what I kind of want it to look like, but the hair design is more cartoony/simplistic than the one I made so its not as helpful lmao
