So more or less, I have PTSD from The Odyssey online queue to purchase tickets at Lincoln. I know people had more luck buying in person at the box office, so I'm wondering if it's a similar situation for NYFF.
Essentially, I'm trying to get premier tickets for Minus Zero and want to increase my chances as best as possible with my Angel membership.
I'm starting the IMA program this fall and I'm looking for an honest overview from current students/alumni:
-Classes to avoid
-Classes that are the most worth taking
-Best electives
-How many credits a semester is too much?
-Most challenging part of the program

I feel like the bar discourse in NYC is always centered around what the hottest/best/trendiest bars at the moment, but I'm really interested in the institutions that are must-visits that have been a part of the fabric of the City for a long time. For an example here's what I think so far:
Sadly, the comic shop I've been going to is shutting its doors in the next few months, so I need a new place to grab books and hang. Looking at Midtown or Forbidden Planet, but would love something with a little more community that hosts events. Any one have any suggestions?
I'm debating walking to my local IMAX (AMC Lincoln 13 NYC) before the release time and seeing if I can buy them at the window vs online. Has anyone ever done this before with any success or is computer/app still the way to go?
