I live in a pretty rough neighborhood, so I was wondering if it would sway the locals if I played some hip hop and rap on my speakers rather than my normal Nickelback they give me funny looks for. Maybe even some Ken Dick? He seems popular right now, any recommendations and advice welcome. Yes I am a white boy wit all dis swag.
1987 Rebel 250 new to me. Obviously needed new tires and I've got some ordered I can hopefully get put on next week. Anyways I was curious how old these are and turns out that 3 digit tire date codes are pre-2000, first 2 are week and last is the last digit of the year it was made. So 306 would be 30th week of a year ending in 6 so 86 or 96. Bike is an 87 so 86 tires would make sense and Google says these would have come with Bridgestones or Dunlops and they are the big B.
Scariest part is the dude I bought it from put over 1000 miles on it recently! I'm scared to even take it to the bike shop to get the new tires put on. Could I make a stand so my bike could rest upright with both wheels off? Seems like the exhaust is the lowest part of these, is that okay? Thanks in advance!
