1.) She was just parallel parking on a flat street: those scratches are going in at least two directions and maybe more. I don’t know what model or year the car is. My wife’s car is the same black as this car- seems weird that it would make white scratches.

Is it possible all these scratches came from just one incident? (Zoom in.) Or could there have been a prior incident?

2.) Her friend got this repaired at a local body and paint shop, not a dealer. My wife opted to pay out of pocket rather than have insurance pay, so as not to raise our rates.

Anybody wanna guess how much it cost!

I work on my bikes in my backyard once in a while. Today I spotted a Schrader valve cap down in the grass. I was going to tip out the dirt to return the valve cap back to the shop, but I then I saw there was a little sprout in there.
