Purchased an El Patron last night before attending the local rodeo. This will make the 7th stetson to my collection, and certainly the most expensive. Worth every penny!

17" skillet is a bit much for 2 people. Bumped it down to the tried and true 12"

Mom handed me down two of my great grandfather's hats. He wore exclusively Stetson his whole life. He passed away in 1997.

Since I was in high school, ive made the decision i was only going to wear Stetson in honor of him. I currently retired my first straw hat, and have just purchased another. I also have a 4x Marshall that I wear to events, etc. Tomorrow I plan on purchasing the 30x El Patron.

Inherited this from my Great Uncle, who inherited it from my Great Grandfather. Recieved it with no combination in 2023. Called my local safe company and they picked it up in Nov 2023. Just received a phone call yesterday telling me they finally brute forced it open after 2.5 years in their hands.

Just a small company, so he worked on it here and there when he had time and encouragement. After a $150 service fee, and the discovery of nothing but stale air (presumably from the 90s) i finally have a solid safe passed down from generations of family.

I think ill leave a funny note and lose the combination so my great grandkids can go through the entire process again 😂
