As a first time should I watch the old show or the reboot?

For me it is all about the story and characters, I do not mind filler and I love old animation styles and the old show looks gorgeously restored on Blu Ray, but on the other hand I have heard the new show has a much more going on for it, actually I have heard mixed opinions. I am blind to the franchise, never read the manga. Just heard a lot of mixed opinions. I know usually the original older shows develop the characters more, while reboots focus on plot and I wonder which would be better as a new timer. Sorry if it is asked too many times.

I have a question about the story, please no spoilers [NO SPOILERS]

I have been told the game is a murder mystery. I am new on the fandom, just finished Persona 3 Reload and played the DLC. I also played Persona 5 right before that. The thing is I am a huge fan of the murder mystery genre. So my question is is it indeed a murder mystery and is the mystery satisfying. Is everything set up, foreshadowed as it very important in such kind of story. Is the reveal satisfying, how predictable is it?

It was brilliant (with one caveat, probably unpopular opinion)

I just cannot believe Pippa got a happy ending and didn't learn a lesson! I am sorry but all this fiasco with the recording was her fault. Not to mention this other girl getting SAed was kind a on her. I know she was traumatized, but she was the one who had actual witnesses, especially Diana who is respectable student with integrity. If she reported it at the time it happened, this scumbag would get his punishment and another girl would have been saved. I know she felt ashamed, but she gave so much crap to Lucy for sleeping with Evan, saying "we don't do this to other girls", yet she didn't stop something way worse happening to one girl, and god knows how many others. I loved the character and her and Diana were really cute together, but she never even acknowledged it or felt any guilt about it, not to mention how awful she was to Lucy and how she pretended to be supportive to other girls. Not to mention how awful she was to Diana for the photos and her decision to move on with her studies away from a very predatory and vindictive socio.

Another Usagi birthday celebration and no sign of the all colour manga edition

Are they trying to pretend it never happened? Was it poorly received (I think it was not the case at all, because it was top selling when it was initially released). Do we have any reason or any hope it might still continue. It has been so many years with absolutely no news. I think they teased a couple of newly coloured paged that gave some hope but now... Nothing again.

Just finished season 1 and I need to talk

No spoilers thank you. I know I am late to the party and the show is far from perfect, but I haven't seen something this addicting in a long while and none of my lame friends has watched it or trust me to give it a chance. I hope the rest of it is just as good, I can totally get over some stuff not making sense but overall I am seriously hooked so far. I love the framing with the flash forwards and it is all so ridiculously juicy. Stephen is just the worst, but so is Lucy. The only one I genuinely like so far is Diana and Bree, to be honest. Probably unpopular opinion. Just needed to talk about it. It is surprisingly refreshing having a plot this juicy and full of drama in a show that is not inappropriately high school centred. I am not sure if the show want me to root for Lucy, but I just can't. Having such a great guy like Max, who will probably end up not being that great in the long run, over this ... I won't label him but he is the worst, and being so rude to her mother. I seriously die on the hill so far I understand the mom completely and as someone who lost a parent and having another who is unwilling to move on, I seriously can't relate.

How is Rubi's style so timeless?

It is an old show, but there is something about the aesthetic. The only thing that aged bad in my opinion is Rubi's later show hair with the wet curls. Anything else is fantastic. Her hairstyle is something I would wear today, I could kill for some of her outfits and it is not nostalgia - I am 21. I have seen Teresa which is much more fresh and new and is in full HD which is incredibly cool, but she screams retro to me in terms of the way she does her makeup and most of her outfits look so out of style to me. I have seen other telenovelas done in that time and nothing else give me that impression as Rubi - everything she wears is just something that I can imagine people still wearing, while most telenovelas are stuck in the era and fashion they were made.

Something I noticed about the streamers playing RE games

What I notice is they actually get invested and care. Most of them never played the OG, there is no nostalgia, they don't usually play games with command system, some of them don't get as many views as playing any other game. Yet they are invested, learn the names of the characters and side characters (which is weird for most streamers, no offense, but they do it for views) they choose on their own to do all side quests and explore. It screams of the quality of this project. Square should learn from this. Most of them praise the battle system and have a ton of fun, sometimes completely forgetting they are even streaming.
