I don’t understand why people say a character is “dead” after getting the smallest nerfs

If a character still retains some of its strength despite the small nerf, you can still use them!

Why TDX’s Nightmare mode is the “best” version of a TD Hardcore mode

Let’s be honest no one likes TD hardcore modes because they feel like a bore fest and are quite disengaging. TDX’s Nightmare mode however has certain elements that make it an exception.

1. Actual preparation time and resources - TDX’s nightmare mode is actually one of the kindest modes simply because it gives a big budget to make a moderate defense for the early game. Unlike other games where they just give you the regular budget (cough cough TDS Hardcore cough). The wave structure is also designed to ramp up in a simple way, giving you time to prepare for the larger threats later on.

2. More than just DPS checks - Most TD games run on the simple “Have enough DPS to win” algorithm, which I honestly find quite boring. TDX however has more than just checking your DPS. That being making sure your towers are alive and that you also have enough support to keep them alive. I’ve always had a fondness for TD games that engage you into managing your towers like an actual army, instead of just getting the best DPS loadouts and having a nap while the boss gets annihilated.

3. It feels rewarding - Nightmare mode gives players a high reward for winning the mode, which helps to engage them into playing more into getting more for better units.

Overall I find TDX’s nightmare mode to be the “best” version of a TD hardcore mode. Despite it being quite challenging, it also feels very engaging due to how the system behind it is structured.

In conclusion, High risk, High reward executed nicely.

Back at it again whipping up straight evil

This monstrosity is designed to be a guaranteed level clearer at the cost of being EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE and VERY DEADLY.

IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT YOU DO NOT USE THIS UNIT. ESPECIALLY ON BOSS LEVELS. UNLESS YOU’RE REALLY STRUGGLING OF COURSE.

Giving Ryu achievements because he still doesn’t have any

Thank you, I’m full - Get killed by a Cursed Partners after having your whole health bar and awakening bar drained.

Way too sweet - Get killed by an Awakened Vessel or Strongest of History

Let’s use every last drop - Successfully win a Beam Clash against True love beam

Bang - Kill a player using only Granite Blasts

Limited ammo - Kill a player without resetting your overheat bar at all

Extermination - Kill a Black Death using “You weren’t invited…”

Convince me to vote for TDX in the innovation awards

I am split on whether to vote for TDX or TDS to win the innovation award for best strategy game. So i’ll ask for your opinion as to why I should vote for this game.
