If you're a London bus driver, are there routes that you paticularly DO or do NOT like to drive? And why.

So for examples, are there routes that are known to attract trouble, have more rowdy passengers?

Equally are there routes that are perceived as being more genteel /calmer or pleasant, what have you?

Purely out of curiosity, as, as a passenger I feel some routes are more pleasant than others. So yeah what bus routes are known for what things?

Because you don't get to choose which routes you drive I guess, they just get allocated to you.

(Interested in outer London particularly where I am.)

What's the rationale on reductions?

Quick question...

On two separate occasions over the past month I've popped in store to their Desserts sections and both times it was circa 1 hour till closing and they had treacle tarts priced at £4.50 down to £2.92. I'd epxect it to be priced at say £1.50 with only 60 minutes to sell.

So, do Do M&S not do a two tier reduction strategy like other supermarkets?

For example Lidl has 20% earlier in the day and then early evening you get 50% off the item.

Fruit flies

Are fruit flies out in force for other London inhabitants?

They're so annoying, every day there's at least a couple of them in my flat.

One was crawling on my washing up sponge earlier. Eurgh

Closest thing to Nivea Soft?

I know that Nivea changed the formula for this cream last year and it's gone rubbish.

I have no more of the original stuff left.

What budget cremes have people found that is closest to it?

I already have Nivea Original in the blue tin but that's more of a night creme.

I have Simple Rich Moisturiser but that's notably thinner than NS.

I tried Astral in the past and wasn't keen.

TV dramas about winning the lottery

I was thinking about it and I can only think of one show about winning the lottery. Forget the name, maybe The Syndicate, maybe a channel 4 show but it had Neville from Harry Potter in the first season and in a later season the winners worked in an animal shelter.

But other than that am I missing any?

Surprised there haven't been more as it would be quite an interesting premise.

Mystery boxes - Lidl UK

Got a scratchcard from a shop in store yesterday (Wednesday) and won a Free Any Veg.

Can't find the list of prizes unfortunately on the app but worth checking if you're shopping this week.

Had a couple of occasions in the past two or three years where I got a 3 months subscription to Disney Plus for free in the clubcard section of the app.

Haven't had it come up in yonks so just wondering if it's still running or not? Anyone had it in the past 6 or 12 months?
