As the title implies, I’m looking for a jund commander that can play in brackets 2-3 and cares a of about graveyards and likes effects like Cascade. Is there something like this?? Any help appreciated. Jund is my fav color combo but the commanders I’ve mostly seen have not aligned with my interest yet
Hi, I’m new-ish. I played French/Duel Commander for years, then took a 10 year break out of the blue and have now returned. I am currently running a fringey Alela Esper control brew that I’ve gone back and forth with using Thoracle or other slower combos (blood artist/gravecrawler, top/citadel, hullbreaker). I don’t mind the Thoracle combo, but I do get worried that others dislike (in a negative way, not in a fun interactive way) that play pattern so Ive been gravitating away from it.
Am I off base for this? Do people actually care?
I wish it could be an “alternate win condition” but it’s usually the most efficient option so it doesn’t feel alternative. Do you have advice to make thoracle into a true “backup plan” instead of the obvious choice for this type of deck?
I will link the deck in the comments if requested
TYIA!
