Affirmations of the day

Isn’t it nice how we came out of it stronger and closer? Who could have thought this much contrast would elevate us both, and serve our love and relationship in the most profound way?

HELP - Enigma R2G bag - is this contamination ?

Just noticed that today 😱

Is this contamination ?

Looks like it started to rot because of too much condensation in the bag 😭

Is there a way to salvage the bag ?

Can I cut and throw away the sick part ?

I'm so bummed...

Thank you for your help 🙏🏻

Abraham-Hicks - How Do The Young Ones Attract Negative Experiences ? [1990]

Often people will ask this question: but what about the young ones? Surely what happens to a little child cannot be self-attracted?

Here's some answer.

Looking for a docile tarantula: Grammostola pulchra, G. pulchripes, or Tliltocatl albopilosus?

Hello everyone!

I had a tarantula almost 20 years ago: a Grammostola cala. I know this name is no longer used today, but that’s the name she was sold to me under. She wasn’t pink at all, but completely brown/dark brown.

She was so calm and trusting that I could handle her and interact with her in almost any way, it was a real love story — yes, I’m one of those people who believe that a genuine bond is possible with a tarantula, or any other living thing. I cried so much when she died…

Anyway, I’m planning to get another tarantula. The desire has been coming back for a while now. I was thinking about a Grammostola pulchra, but I’m also considering Grammostola pulchripes and Tliltocatl albopilosus.

I know that each individual within the same species is different, but I would really like a tarantula that is very docile. Being able to interact with her is important to me; otherwise, I don’t really see the point.

What would you recommend? Maybe another species I haven’t thought of?

Light during a heatwave: is indoor artificial light enough?

A heatwave is coming in the next few days, and it’s going to be between 38°C and 41°C all next week. To lower the temperature in my home, I’ll need to keep the shutters closed.

Is artificial light — just regular indoor lighting, not a special LED grow light — enough?

I’ve searched through the community and saw that a lot of people say light isn’t necessarily needed and mostly just helps guide the mushrooms as they grow. But I’ve also seen other people mention a difference in effects between mushrooms that received real light versus those that only received artificial light, or no light at all.

Thank you !

Trip Report: 1.8g Golden Teacher after 5 years — harsh peak, loving comedown

Two days ago, I had my first trip in at least 5 years. I took 1.8g of dried Golden Teachers using the Lemon Tek method.

I really didn’t enjoy the peak. I was hot — it was 34°C — and I only had mild visuals if I “softened” my vision. A heavy wave of depression came over me, and I found myself facing the loneliness I feel in my everyday life. I wanted to cry, and I had this feeling that life is too hard and not really worth it. At some point I thought I was gonna forget to breathe if I didn't think about it and focus on my breath. Thankfully, my cat was there to cuddle me — a true queen! I then spent about an hour in the shower, which helped.

On the other hand, once the peak had passed, I loved the effect. Life suddenly became beautiful, I felt full of love, connected, euphoric… I kept thinking things like, “Why aren’t people just in love? Why do they lie, etc.? It’s so obvious that love is the way!”

I was hoping for a spiritual experience, new insights, maybe even contact with entities or my guides, receiving answers… but I simply realized that I already had the answers, and that I just needed to apply them.

I was also hoping this trip would help me process and move forward after my breakup at the end of January. It was very difficult and traumatic for me, to the point of sending me into a severe depression. That’s actually why I started microdosing 3 weeks ago, which has helped me a lot. I thought the trip would help me see things differently, or unlock something in my mind and help me move on… I had actually been thinking lately that I was making progress in that direction, but the trip had the opposite effect and threw me right back into it: I still love him…

Anyway… I really hate the physical effects. I think I’ll need to try something other than cubes, as I’ve heard some other varieties have much less of a body load. And that was only 1.8g! I don’t even dare imagine what 3g, 5g, or more would feel like. Honestly, I don’t know how you guys do it! I wanted to try a high dose later on to experience ego death, but now I’m seriously doubting it, considering how bad I felt on just 1.8g.

Mature vs. Immature vs. Aborts: Potency Can Vary More Than You Think

Just a heads-up from my recent experience with Golden Teachers.

I harvested a batch a few days ago and did a pretty rough harvest. Along with the mature fruits, I also picked quite a few small mushrooms that clearly hadn’t reached full maturity yet. They didn’t look like aborts to me: no dark/black caps, no obvious stalled pins, no weird fuzzy mycelium covering them, nothing that looked dead or rotten. Just small, immature fruits that I accidentally harvested too early.

I dried everything properly, then took my usual microdose: 200 mg.

And wow. It hit me way harder than expected — honestly, it felt like I had taken a much larger dose.

So I just wanted to share this as a warning/reminder: small immature mushrooms are not necessarily “weak” just because they are small. Even if they are not aborts, they may still be surprisingly potent per gram dry weight, possibly because they have produced a significant amount of active compounds before gaining much mass.

I’m not saying this is a universal rule, and potency varies a lot from fruit to fruit and batch to batch. But after this experience, I’ll definitely treat small/immature fruits with more caution and won’t assume that 200 mg from immature mushrooms or aborts equals 200 mg from mature mushrooms.

It also reminded me that proper homogenization really matters for consistent dosing. Using whole mushrooms (especially immature ones), or just grabbing random pieces from a mixed batch, can make one dose very different from the next — especially if the batch contains mature fruits, immature fruits, and possible aborts.

Moral of the story: if your batch contains a lot of small or immature fruits, be careful. A “normal” microdose might not feel normal at all.

Which mushroom strains have the least body high?

I love the psychological, spiritual, visual, euphoric, and social effects… but I’m a bit less fond of the physical effects and the “body high.”

Which strain(s) tend to have the least physical effects?

I’ve already tried Golden Teachers, and I currently have McKennaii and Enigma growing.

Ready-2-Grow Enigma bag - do I let it in the box ?

Hi 🙂

Just received my Ready-2-grow Enigma bag 🎉

I'm tempted to keep it in the box in order to avoid fruits growing inside the cake... but the instructions say to throw the box away 🤔

What would you advise me to do ?

Thank you 🙏🏻🍄

Does my substrate look right after 4 days?

Hello,

I started a Classic Golden Teacher grow kit from Zamnesia on Monday. I followed the instructions and filled the container with water before putting it in the fridge for 12 hours. Twelve hours later, it didn’t seem to me that the substrate cake had properly absorbed the water, but I set it up anyway.

Here is the result 4 days later. I gently misted it yesterday by spraying upward so that the mist would fall gently onto the substrate. Does it look right to you?

Thanks in advance for your help and advice!
