Greetings again my dear goblins! I return from my adventures with many more shiny trinkets from far and wide! The teal stones are bloodstone and the purple is purple fluorite. I have been stockpiling and cataloguing the finest moss museums and lichen locations.

Moss has always been an obsession for me and I have recently re-fallen in love with it. Here are my recent ring photos. The rings are handmade pewter rings (except for the 3rd pic which is silver)

I wanted to share some delightful shiny things I have been making! The first ring is pewter and obsidian and the second is just pewter!

I have been LOVING using moss as a background for photos as it is such a perfect little thing.

I love how crazy small everything gets! It's so soft and silky yet fuzzy! Moss makes my brain very happy ! It scatters light so wonderfully it's like it's own tiny world!

This is some 925 I have worked into a rough ring. How do I get it back to being silver and not yellow? I have tried cold pickling it by leaving it in salt, vinegar and water for 40 minutes which hasn't done anything. I did remelt a previous ring without adding any additional silver to it. Any help is appreciated.

Hey gobos! Here are my latest set of rings! Three are black tourmaline and pewter and the fourth is red Jasper and pewter. It was my first time using red Jasper in this way and love how they all came out!

These are a few rustic pewter rings I have had a GREAT time making! They are so raw and I love them!

Hey folks, newbie here. I am having a lot of trouble melting silver. I have a lpg torch seen in the picture, I also have a butane trade flame torch and have not been able to get it hot enough.

Is my crucible too big? Do I need fire bricks? A smaller graphite crucible? I'm really unsure where to go from here.

Any advice is appreciated!

I have been loving the unpredictability of casting stones in place. It's been fun dealing with each unique piece and how best to approach cleaning and polishing it.
