Elven rings from the woods

I have really fallen in love with these big chonky rings and the different textures and finishes and then contrasting them against the rough textures of nature!

Goblin rings 3: Forrest lurkers!

Greetings again my dear goblins! I return from my adventures with many more shiny trinkets from far and wide! The teal stones are bloodstone and the purple is purple fluorite. I have been stockpiling and cataloguing the finest moss museums and lichen locations.

Thanks for all the love. Be kind to yourself ❤️

Mossy magic!

Moss has always been an obsession for me and I have recently re-fallen in love with it. Here are my recent ring photos. The rings are handmade pewter rings (except for the 3rd pic which is silver)

I love the different variations you can get with lighting and vibe.

Moss has become my favourite photo backgrounds!!!

I love how crazy small everything gets! It's so soft and silky yet fuzzy! Moss makes my brain very happy ! It scatters light so wonderfully it's like it's own tiny world!

How to unyellow my sterling silver

This is some 925 I have worked into a rough ring. How do I get it back to being silver and not yellow? I have tried cold pickling it by leaving it in salt, vinegar and water for 40 minutes which hasn't done anything. I did remelt a previous ring without adding any additional silver to it. Any help is appreciated.

Goblin rings: the regoblining!

Hey gobos! Here are my latest set of rings! Three are black tourmaline and pewter and the fourth is red Jasper and pewter. It was my first time using red Jasper in this way and love how they all came out!

Thanks for the love.

Advice on melting silver

Hey folks, newbie here. I am having a lot of trouble melting silver. I have a lpg torch seen in the picture, I also have a butane trade flame torch and have not been able to get it hot enough.

Is my crucible too big? Do I need fire bricks? A smaller graphite crucible? I'm really unsure where to go from here.

Any advice is appreciated!

Thanks

My minimalist signet rings!

Made from pewter. Simple. Clean. Dignified.

I have made fancier, more complex rings yet I keep returning to the simplicity of these two.

I really like them!

Budget respirator recommendations?

I am just starting silver casting and hope to protect my lungs. What do you recommend I get. I have seen there are different types of masks with different filters and I don't really know what is best.

Thanks!

Advice for going from pewter casting to silver?

I have been loving pewter casting but am getting ready to take the plunge into silver. What are your biggest tips / need to know advice? What did you wish you knew when you started?

I'm so excited to get started.

Thanks 🙏🏼

Black Tourmaline ring.

I have been loving the unpredictability of casting stones in place. It's been fun dealing with each unique piece and how best to approach cleaning and polishing it.

Also it just looks cool af!

It's been a great learning experience! The next one I make will be muuuuuch nicer!

It's a pewter ring made through sand casting. I'm quite new to ring making but have been loving it.

I have been busy creating rings worthy of goblin brethren! My new favourite is the black tourmaline ring.

Lmk what shiney stabbies you wish to see made next!!!
