Speed Limit Questions
So I am driving in Scotland for the first time and was wondering, When on a 2 lane motorway (Blue Signs) the speed limit is 60 despite only being 2 lanes it then changed to green signs with a national speed limit sign so does that mean the speed limit drops to 50 for HGVs since it has turned into a dual-carriageway and not a 2 lane motorway or have I got this wrong. I should probably know this from my theory but I’ve always been a bit confused in the difference between dual-carriageway and 2 lane motorway.
Is the limit always 60 when on a motorway with blue signs regardless of number of lanes that the road has as long as the road is a motorway (Unless the signs say lower)
When the signs are local green does the dual and single-carriageway limits apply
