Thought id do a quick showing of my main music studio, ill share more soon when its not always so hot in here (87 with pc running and thats with ac on). Summertime I mostly work in my basement studio which ive posted much more of here
I may do an equipment rundown soon too but thatll more likely be for youtube
It was all “pixel mapped” before using a bunch of crops of the screen then analyzing the colors and sending rgb value but it was blurry
I decided to spend about 20 hours over the past two days pixel mapping my entire lighting right

The triangle is taking up more room than I thought and I want to move it
Im thinking about using it in my studio upstairs but it may even be too big for that, I get more into it in the video

Everyone collectively “wants to be a kid again” and people always say that’s because of the lack of responsibility blah blah blah
Here’s my take:
We actually have less responsibility as adults, theres nothing left to “level up”. Theres no massive thing that you’ll gain or learn, nothing new to the human existence one the same level as growing up.
As a kid you’re filled with hope and wonder, every day could be something new and beautiful. As we grow, we dig ourselves more firmly into our routines and way of life then wonder why everything feels so mundane.
When we take psychedelics, it brings that wonder back, we can “be like a kid again” but what if that feeling is just the feeling of hope and wonder returning?
Happiness, joy, contentment, wonder; are all just states of mind that we connect with being younger because our focus has shifted to “real life”.
Fuck real life, go do what you wanna do, not the “I should be doing this, (x) wants me to do this, I need to do this to appease (x)”
Right now, what would make you the happiest in this very moment? Not excited, not giddy but a calm pure loving happiness that you can feel in your gut.
Now whats stopping you from doing that? Judgement, fear, a “lack of motivation”?
Who cares???
Everyone just wants to be happy, find joy in their day, find meaning in their life.
The meaning of life is to find what brings you the joy, what gets you to that place of contentment. Following the path is what gives you the motivation, you just have to start
This was a bit of a ramble but I hope I got my point across and this can at the very least get the ball rolling for you
(Sometimes it’s as easy as finally doing that thing you’ve had sitting in the back of your mind for who knows how long.
Accomplishment feels great, completing a task or mission doesn’t just have to be in a game, go make your life a game)
There are so many exhaust fans going in here its hard to keep a haze
The lasers are wayyyyyyy better in person, if anyone has any tips on filming lasers itd be much appreciated!

I have glow in the dark and blacklight dye for tie dye but the original plan for the ceiling was a massive led matrix
I ran into some power restraints/lack of outlets so im leaning towards having the ceiling react rather than light itself.
More of these bar lights would be awesome but I don’t want to overdo it and they are very obvious when not in use
I set up my lights to play this when they turn on before I take control of them with touch designer
The experience is very pleasing to the eyes
I was tweaking some values in touch designer with my lighting setup and decided to play around on the decks. Ended up coming up with this suicide boys and xenotype mashup, I hope you enjoy!
