Yesterday, I played with two friends (in-game), and a fourth player joined us, probably a friend of one of the two I was playing with.

He was the kind of player who never loses the ball, could dribble through an entire team with ease, and scored goals effortlessly. We played three matches together, and it felt like we barely even existed. We were basically just watching while he did almost everything. He barely passed the ball, and even when he did, it was only after taking all the time he needed to dribble around. Even when he was playing as a goalkeeper.

We won all three matches comfortably. After that, all of us left the squad and made a new one without inviting him.

I don’t understand why some players think playing like this and holding onto the ball for 20 seconds is impressive, as if we’re supposed to stand there applauding and admiring them. Trust me, we feel the exact opposite. Most of us barely have 2-3 hours a day to play, and the last thing we need is someone treating the game like it’s 1v4 or 1v5. Why would I waste two hours of my time watching someone do nothing but try to dribble through an entire team every time and then score?

I don’t care if they can get us to win 10 times out of 10, and I’m not denying that a lot of these players genuinely can win every time. Unfortunately, the game allows them to do that and encourages individual play over teamwork.

But screw that. Personally, I’d rather play with a team where we actually have to struggle for the win, maybe winning 5 out of 10 matches, as long as we’re all having fun. As long as there’s teamwork and cooperation, defending and attacking as a team rather than as individuals. I’d take that over a team where I just sit there and watch while winning every match. Again, screw that.

Please… play your boring, selfish style with your friends who will shower you with praise and tell you how amazing you are. But when you’re playing solo and joining another team, remember that a lot of people will find you boring and feel like you’re ruining the fun for everyone.

Be someone who’s fun to play with. Please.

Ever since Juve’s dominance over the Scudetto came to an end, Napoli have won the league twice, Milan rose again and won it, and Inter have done it three times. And throughout all those years, and even before that, our goal has always been finishing in the top 4.

I don’t want things to remain this way for another ten years. I think it’s time for us to dream bigger.

Serie A has become wide open to all possibilities in recent years. A team like Atalanta has finished in the top 4 six times in the last ten seasons, while a newly promoted side like Como are playing in the Champions League today. So why shouldn’t we dream of something bigger? Should we once again have the same goals as Atalanta and Como?!

For the first time in many years, we’re seeing the club finally move away from the "supermarket" mentality. Roma are heading into a new season having kept all of their key players and stars: Svilar, Dybala, Malen, Mancini, Ndicka, Kone, Wesley, Ghilardi, Cristante and Soule (hopefully there won’t be any surprises in the final hours).

That alone should give us reason to be optimistic about going further than we did last season. A more cohesive team, strengthened by new signings like Mora, Molina, Castro and De Roon… why shouldn’t we compete for the title?

All we’re missing is for us to show the mentality of a team that genuinely wants to compete for the title in the big games.. not a team that goes into matches against Inter, Milan, Napoli, Juventus and Atalanta simply looking for a draw.

This has been one of the team’s biggest weaknesses over the past few years. Get rid of that mentality. Go into these matches looking for all three points. Show what we’re truly capable of. That’s all we need to become genuine title contenders!

Oh my God… the sheer number of quitters in this game is ten times higher than in Rocket League.

You're not playing Call of Duty or Fortnite. This is an arcade sports game, and comebacks have always been an integral part of sports, especially football. The number of quitters in this game is just sad… whether it's people leaving the match or those who start scoring own goals the moment their team goes two goals down.

I've witnessed so many comebacks that seemed impossible, both for and against my team. Being two goals down with around 30 seconds left, only to come back and equalize! I know it can feel hopeless sometimes… but why quit? Why play a competitive game if you're going to give up the moment you fall behind?

Please, if you're the kind of person who quits as soon as you go behind or make a mistake, find another game to play. You're ruining the experience for everyone else.

You will always weigh heavily on them. A burden. Your mistakes won't be forgiven easily. They'll always be waiting for you to slip up. You'll be annoying if you say "hello," if you check in on someone, or if you're the one to start a conversation. You'll always be the one sending longer messages. You'll have to get used to brief replies. Short answers. They'll always be too busy.

Eventually, they'll find the smallest excuse to make you the villain, then walk away as if you never mattered.

Maybe they'll tell you you're too gloomy. Too negative. That you're always playing the victim. Even if you're nothing like that, they'll search for something wrong within you, anything that helps justify walking away. The truth is, they simply don't want you in their lives. They just don't have the courage to say it. Instead, they'll hide behind excuses rather than admit what they really believe: that you're an outcast simply because of the way you look.

Fine. Maybe we really are boring. Maybe we're miserable. But that was never the real reason. It never was. We're ugly. That's all there is to it.

We'll die alone. Someone might grieve for a few days, but it won't last. It'll all fade away. Maybe, despite the weight we believed we placed on others, we were only a soft breeze drifting through a world that never even noticed we were there.

We were. We became. Then we quietly disappeared.

Simply because you're leaving your team exposed and one defender short, whether it's a 4v3, 3v2, or 2v1.

I know it's annoying when the opposing goalkeeper starts clowning around, just standing there waiting for someone to press them. But please, unless your team is behind, there's no need to press.

Of course, if your team is losing, pressing the goalkeeper makes perfect sense. Time isn't on your side, so you need to win the ball back as quickly as possible.

I just don't know why many players automatically sprint toward the opposing goalkeeper to press them, only to give them an easy pass option to an unmarked player. Please stop doing that.

I know you can see the opponent's kit color in the top-left corner of the screen, but I still find it quite confusing, especially when there's a last second change and a new player joins, or when we change our own team color. I often have to press options/start (PS5) just to check the player list and see what the opponent team is wearing.

It's a small suggestion, but during the pre-match kit selection screen, I'd love the option to switch to the opposing team's selection by pressing L1/R1 and choose one of the kits available to their captain.

I've been playing since launch, and this is still something I find confusing and frustrating, especially when a change happens in the final seconds before the match starts.

Since there's no way to communicate in the game (sadly, other than voice chat), and you can't send messages to your teammates (especially crossplay friends), I thought it'd be nice to make this post as a way to spread some positivity and appreciation within our community ❤️

Tottin**, MayaLe**, J4imeLa**, **Courier** .. Thank you all for being a great team players. We win together, and we lose together, and that's okay. What matters most is that it's always been fun playing with you, and we've been playing for days now.

And thanks for never "Good job-ing" me when I make silly mistakes 🥲 instead, it has always been a warm and comforting "🫶 We got this!" ❤️

Like I remember in the previous round, I've played many matches and my personal contribution was somewhere around 100K (less or more).

Now in the current phase/round, my personal contribution is around 30K — 30K out of 220,483,374. We're talking about hundreds of millions.

Idk really.. maybe I can't calculate but these numbers are just odd and hard to believe.

Simple math: there has to be around 7500 players in one team only, playing as much as me, so we can have 220,483,374.

Once again, that's only my team, now go and calculate all the other teams.. it's gonna feel like our player base is bigger than League of Legends at this point lol.

I'm sorry but that seems impossible and I'm a regular player, it's not that I've played one or two matches. I'm not saying it's 100% scripted, but I think there's something I can't understand here.

Please, use your head and think for 2 seconds. Look around you, there may be better options than passing to the furthest player on the pitch, especially when they're tightly marked and there's literally no chance the ball will reach them.

Goalkeepers are the starting point of most attacks in this game. But how can we create chances if they instantly give the ball away?

Sometimes less is more. Please chill and keep it simple.

I'm not asking for in-game text chats with randoms like Rocket League, screw that.. way too many trolls and toxic kids.

But at least allow squad members to text each other in the home page/main menu. There should at least be a minimum level of communication between crossplay friends. Not everyone is comfortable using their mics, let's be real.

I've had some crossplay friends for months now, we play from time to time and it's always fun, but it's kind of sad that there's 0 communication between us.

Sometimes all I want is to say "Brb.. Give me a minute.. I need a short break.. I have to go.. etc" — but we meet and leave like strangers (we technically are, I know).

It shouldn't be like Rocket League, once again: SCREW THAT, but squad members/crossplay friends should be able to text each other, at least in the home page.
