Where should I go?

21F Asian American. Having a good selection of asian food is very important to me as I grew up on a multicultural area and can be picky. I have 350,000 USD saved and have a pension of 3000USD monthly. Although I plan to primarily live off of my pension I would like not to spend more than 2000USD a month.

You can't have a city and tons of cars. "Hold my beer" said Malaysia.

On vacation in downtown Kuala Lumpur right now and the amount of car parks is astonishing. Almost every other residential high rise has a 7 or 10 story car park. Sidewalks here range between questionable and amazing. Some are covered and fenced from traffic and others are fenced off due to construction and have you crossing 4 different parking garage entrances to get across them.

Trial run going exactly how I expected and not at all at the same time.

I'm Vietnam for the next year and am liking things so far, but the isolation is starting to get to me. Came with a family member who is from the area so I've been able to get by, but the lack of community is starting to get to me. I retired early but now I'm looking at either one day going back to the US and being unhappy or not being able to speak with anyone other then basic communication.

I fucking hate the SSA.

The SSA has made my life a living hell for the last 2 weeks. I had a name change and was preoccupied with leaving. I opened a Schwab international account to spend money overseas, and the account creation went through even with my new name so I thought I was set. Turns out I use the account for 2 weeks before it became restricted because I didn't update my name with the SSA. Turns out it's actually incredibly hard to get in you social security card overseas, especially when you don't travel with all your legal documents. I thought the SSA handed out people's retirement. I am 20 and never going to see a dime of that money so why bother.

I will be retiring in California soon, and have a pension check that will take 30-45 days after I retire to be delivered. I do have it set to an account for direct disposit, but the first check must be picked up in person. I have one way tickets out of the U.S for a week after I retire. How would I deposit this check?
