My 2003 Standard 24 is back in my greasy palms again! Sold it to a friend but the time was right to have it back. Forgot how good these are...not going to let it go so easily again. 😉

Hello, just picked up a mint, original, 2013 American special. Now here's an odd one. Judging by the condition & solder joints, the pick ups have never been swapped but these pick ups are defo' not OEM Texas Specials. The pick up wiring is plastic coated & the bridge pick up polepieces are flat 50's style with black not white bobben tape. Have any other 2013 era AS owners got the same pick ups, and if so, do you know what they are?

Any Duo Jet w Bigsby owners out there with a brass Tru Arc comp' bridge? Noticing a distinct ringing from behind the bridge when hit hard, specially on the G. Is this a characteristic of this brass TA bridge and is the only fix to dampen the strings behind the bridge. Any advice would be most welcome. Cheers
Avensis kombi 2008 owners. Can anyone confirm the best fix for this loose, front nearsidebumper corner /wheel arch fix. Looks like a clip has broken off & the bumper and there's nothing for the tip to attach to. Any advice? Cheers.
Flexin' my 2012 Pure Vintage 52 tele which was made very close to Jeff Beck's tele which sold at the big auction last year for £50k. 16 digits away from his, would there be any chance mine was made on the same day or week as his? Or as they have it as 2017 would these serial numbers be random?
