Cant add several files to one plate??

When did they remove the option to add several items to one plate unless the file has two parts i thought i could just " import " a file and add it to the plate it just opens a new plate all the old reddit and facebook posts are wrong , i just wanted to print a few items while i was at work on one plate but seems i cant unless theres a work around ?? Or is that just how the anycubic slicer is now
