Sweating more, less CU

so I had CU like 2 years go and I have been managing it via sauna, exercise and diet. when i got it, especially very bad. I would not sweat and I would overheat.

somethings made it better , some worse. the things that made it better was taking out tomato out of my diet. IDK why but it really messed me up the day of or next few days when i broke out.

i don’t think this is universal cause i’ve been on this sub a lot.. it seems there are different types of causes of CU, and so we get mixed results from solutions as something that helps me might not help you.

now.. i did a carnivore and keto diet. started strict carnivore.. just beef, salt. then added eggs. now i’m doing keto.. add some spices etc.

my sweating is back like I used to! and my CU is only active in a few spots and it seems to be getting less and less even there..

i also quit booze during this time, maybe that’s related as well. or maybe just all coincidence and I’m getting lucky and CU is leaving me.

before it’s all good and gravy, i want to point out that i now sweat like i used to. I used to excessively sweat. like switch shirt at the gym mid work out. Perhaps I have something wrong with me at the get go and CU was a progression of it. Some thyroid stuff. Idk. Just glad to sweat and worry less about over heating anymore.

Revolvers are just perfected handguns

i love my revolver. having it makes me feel different from having a semi auto.

well made piece of metal.

Absolutely love the look of 442UC VZ G10

however i notice it may be too slippery when my hands are dry, or after the first shot at the range.

first shot is painless the 2nd + hurt cause the grip moved completely.

prob a training and a gear issue.

any recommendations on what to change? sucks cause I absolutely love the way it looks

Watching the Sopranos. Question

the characters all carry snub noses. now I know it’s a show, but i’m curious with a few questions…

how are these guys shooting these with one hand.. were they heavier snubbies? lighter loads? smaller rounds?

and also, do criminals practice shooting at the range? do they dry fire like crazy? how do they get proficient?

Took my first snub to the range!

first snub. first revolver. not the first time missing the target bigly, but first time in a while! haha

what a humbling experience. i’m accurate to about 2 yards. 5+ I’m pretty sure i’m not even getting it on paper! hahaha

definitely need to work on getting a consistent grip that works and doesn’t mutilate my hand.

Day 11. Can’t stomach ground beef

i can’t stomach plain ground beef with salt anymore. been just slamming eggs and clean bacon.

at what point will there be a switch where I can enjoy just feeding myself food?

notes for reader : started off super strict. beef, salt, water. then added eggs. then bacon.

i am doing this to lose some weight so I cut out dairy which definitely helps the variety in my diet when it is in there.

442UC VS 432UC

For those that got one over the other can you share why?

i bought the 442UC as I’ve heard rounds for 432 are hard to get(?) uncommon or expensive(?)

new to revolvers.. may just have to grab the 642UC to even it out

I have come down to 2 choices please help

okay,

i originally wanted a snub nose for pocket carry. it’s warmer months and I would like something to change it up.

landed on 340pd for it’s light weight. i do not plan on carrying or using 357.

however, after checking out revolvers at the store, i played with a kimber k6 with a hammer, not shrouded and fell in love with how freakin beautiful that thing is. it is pulling on my heart strings heavy.

if you had to pick between these 2 based on the info I gave you. ONLY these 2, which do you think I should pick?

i will stop posting on revolvers subreddit after this. i don’t want to hog the subreddit.

thanks in advance
