Car seat for parent who is Uber driver

Hello everyone!

We're expecting our first and are trying to decide on a car seat.

We have one car, which my husband also uses for full time Uber/Lyft so the car seat we get needs to be easy to install and remove.

For example, he may be dropping our baby at daycare in the morning then need to immediately remove the car seat to work, then reinstall it in the afternoon before picking her up from day care.

We obviously don't want one that leaves a base behind, so what are your recommendations for ones that install easily and fully remove? Are there any lol?

Thank you!

Buying preowned blu-rays?

My family and I visit from St Pete every August with the family (6 adults and 4 kids), but I'm heavily pregnant this time and don't want to spend it on the beach with a million people.

I'm a bit of a blu-ray collector, so wondering where the best (air conditioned lol) place is for preowned blu rays.

I aee a few thrifts places, but don't want to have to travel up and down looking.

Thank you!

Restaurants for 40th Bday & Pregnant?

Hi everyone!

It's my 40th birthday this coming weekend and I want to go to a restaurant with really yummy food, but being pregnant means that I'm restricted on a lot of my favorite foods ☹️

I can't have under cooked meat (so all lamb and beef/steak has to be well done - boo), no raw seafood, oysters, etc. No salad, or cut uncooked veggies or fruits.

Where have you been blown away by recently, but it wasn't because of a salad or steak, etc?

I do like Italian food, but would like to branch out if there are other options.

My usual yums are medium lamb, medium cheese burger, sushi, dinner salads, raw oysters, etc. so I'm struggling to pick something.

Bonus if there's lots of options, because my brain will love the idea of something one second and hate it the next lol

Work from home doctor's note?

Hi everyone!

I work hybrid (3 days in office) and will be going back in for the first time since the first trimester nausea and exhaustion has kicked in and I don't know how I'm going to do it.

When I'm WFH I work from bed and take a nap in the middle of the day.

Has anyone asked their OB for a doctor's note to get full WFH for at least the first trimester? Did you have push back?

I'm just dreading the thought of having to do this 3x a week till January lol

I honestly do not know how anyone does it 5x a week

Hi everyone!

I am in the first trimester or my first pregnancy and I am EXHAUSTED.

I'm used to cooking all of my meals and eating lots of fresh food, but I just don't have it in me to do that 3x a day right now.

What snacks and ready meals are you eating that satisfy and aren't full of weird stuff? I've never been a snacker due to IBS, so I don't even have anything like that in the house.

I don't want to start eating chips and granola bars all day, and a piece of fruit for breakfast ain't cutting it.

Any recommendations for brands or meal ideas would be greatly appreciated.
