Hey all,
I'm printing out terrain for the newest edition of Warhammer 40k. I have my ruins/buildings done and I'm very excited about it but now I'm on to the actual footprints.
The issue I'm running into is they slide around too easily while playing and I need idea's on what I can do to the bottom of them to help them stick firmly.
I play on a neoprene mat if that makes any difference so ideally something semi abrasive, but not so much so that it chews up the play mat.
Thanks!
I printed the entire set on my Snapmaker U1 in preparation for the new edition of War40k.
Files are from Fabricator Lairs latest kick starter. I decided to paint the columns and skulls a seperate color so they could stand out more. It took a long time but I'm pleased with the results.
All the coloring was from the printer itself except a few spots I had to hand touch because I missed it in software.
Cheers!
Had a lot of fun with these two. Put a lot of time and effort into them. Sliced the top off to make it open topped, spent hours converting the crew. I'm pretty pleased with the results.
Had a lot of fun with the one Basilisk crew in a relaxed take waiting for orders.
I'm very close to wrapping up all my current guard models. All that's left is Yarrick.
Hope you enjoy, C&C welcome!
Hey all,
I've had this U1 Snapmaker for about a week now, almost two. Love printing and had minimal mostly success but im wondering if the orientation of the filament wheel matters?
Does it make sense to have the filament feed as straight as possible into the auto feeders? I've just been mounting them label out all the time regardless of the orientation and haven't had an issue but wonder if I should cease this?
Thanks
Had to redo the base magnets on all these Ogryn, figured I'd snap a pic.

2x6 Bullgryn
2x3 Ogryn
1 Body guard with Maul/shield
1 Body guard with knife/Ripper Gun
And with these models my pile of shame is further chipped away. In terms of guard, I have 2 pretty customized Basilisks I'm working on and Yarrick then that'll be it for my guard army (for now at least....) while I go back to tackle other projects.

The Ogryn finishes my second 3 man unit.

The four Scions now let me run a second 5+5 Scion squad.

Hope you enjoy. C&C welcome.
Hope you enjoy, C&C welcome
Hope you enjoy, C&C welcome
Just need to seal these fellows.
The Basilisks are a special project that I can't wait to share eventually, but they'll be the forgeworld enclosed equivalent, except with the top cut off....
I should also have a hydra to share in the coming days hopefully.
Hope you enjoy! C&C welcome!
My small LGS runs paint sessions for all kinds of folks as an introduction to model painting, weather it be Warhammer, or some other table top game, or even just hobby painting.
Unfortunately they were running out of things to paint, so I figured I could step in and donate some models.
Can't wait to drop these off!
