Ft. my Haikaveh babies unionizing and forming a prayer circle 😌

Also I messed up the quote slightly and I said road instead of path 😭😭😭 but I still love it so much and it's my favourite dialogue between them 🥹

Second opinion on decision spread (sick leave extension or back to work?)

Deck used: Oriens Animal Tarot (pocket edition) by Ambi Sun

Spread: Decision spread with two scenarios and one guidance card

Background: I am currently on sick leave for burnout and have been off a little over a week. Mentally and physically I don't feel ready to return. My sick note was only issued until yesterday but I could extend it if I need to.

But there is also the financial aspect. Unfortunately my company only offers statutory sick pay, which isn't a lot at all. I have some savings that I could tap into, covering the loss for at least another week without losing all of it.

And I also felt unsure if another week will really make much of a difference. So, I asked my cards the following questions today:

Scenario 1: Extending my sick leave for another week

Result: Ace of Wands

Scenario 2: Returning to work on Monday

Result: Two of wands

Guidance card result: Nine of cups

Interpretation of scenario 1: for me it has the most clear cut answer. I could potentially recover at least some of my creative spirit and energy, and I would benefit from more rest. The image on this card is extremely telling too, considering that a dragonfly is breaking out of its cocoon, and I do feel trapped inside my own self currently.

Interpretation of Scenario 2: seems to be an extension of the first answer. I interpreted it as financial stability, which makes sense because I'd get paid again. Not sure what to make of the rest though, I don't have the energy to gain any recognition at work and I don't have the energy to put in the effort for it. I know there's a new role opening soon that I'm keen to apply, so another interpretation could be that by going back I'm securing a better chance at getting the role.

Interpretation of Guidance: this is the most confusing for me with 9 of cups because I don't know which scenario to apply it to. It is obviously a very positive card and made me feel hopeful that I will feel better. I am doing what I can to stabilize my mental energy, even if it is really hard. But I am still stuck on making the decision, when all of the cards have a very positive outcome. Am I right to read it as both scenarios will have a positive outcome regardless of what I'll choose?

I am mostly a novice at reading cards although in the past I made the experience that my interpretations weren't too far off. That's why I'm hoping for a second opinion, in case I understood it the wrong way.

The bird bath is finally being used for its intended purpose 🥹

We had it up for a good while, and it became an open bar until today when the Woodie finally realized he can wash in it 🥹

Our comfy wood pigeon neighbour ❤️

This rotund friend likes to bask in the sun on our balcony it seems! It's the second time he did it, I wish I'd captured the big yawn and stretch he just did.

Possibly the coolest cloud formations I've seen so far!

It looked and sounded apocalyptic, with thunder rumbling rolling across the sky for minutes straight. It was so cool I couldn't stop myself from staring 😭 this was last Thursday in Poole.

My pain will one day fade into nothing just as I reach the end of my life, but my buildings will endure.

Finally got the chance to wear him for a proper location shoot at the Royal Pavilion in Brighton, which was the perfect location for it 🥹
