So I usually listen to shows in my car through carplay, and when I turn off the car the next show starts playing on my phone speaker. This never happened in my old car, and I haven't changed any options on my phone.

Usually if I was listening to something and I turned the car off, the show would stop. I don't have hand off turned on either

Any thoughts as to what's going on? I've been trying to find any settings I might have missed and no joy.

I was looking through different subs for Canadian shows that I might like as I've been a fan of a lot of them, and someone suggested Flashpoint and my god it's one of the best police procedurals I've ever seen.

Im hoping that anyone could give me some more suggestions for shows that are unabashedly set or noticeably filmed in Canada. Other shows I've seen - continuum, skymed, transplant, murder in a small town, dark matter, killjoys, the ark, bsg, family law, Travellers, among others. I'm sure I'm missing some. I love low budget scifi and action stuff but not a fan of most comedies, so not looking for that.

Any suggestions for action or scifi shows? Preferably from the 00s on.

i saw a post a little while ago about building a self hosted wiki for family history. my mom has been collecting a lot of stories and stuff over the years, and i wanted to help her put it all online for people to see, but she doesn't know markup or html at all.

is there wiki software someone can suggest that is easy for any user regardless of experience can use? or maybe a tool that can translate the code easily?

in a time when massachusetts needs more homes and more affordable housing - especially in the vally - we had a chance to have 400 new homes in amherst and leverett... but naw, lets have the golfer from new jersey buy it up for his personal use instead.

we had a pantry moth infestation and through cleaning we finally found all of the errant food that they could have been eating. we've been over the house multiple times since then looking for anything they might be feeding on, and can't find anything. whats more, they are centered around the stairway which is really weird. i'm convinced they've laid eggs somewhere around there, but i can't find anything. but we keep seeing the adults flying around, and we kill maybe 5-10 a day.

we've tried traps, bug bombs to kill the adults (which did work for a time, and then they came back), and i've been looking into residual sprays but they are controlled in massachusetts.

i'm at a loss. its been weeks since we got rid of the last bit of food, and they don't seem to be waning. we do have a gap between the ceiling and the wall in some rooms, so maybe they are hiding up there, but i don't know what to do to get in there. is there some kind of consumer grade foam i can use? something?

any help would be appreciated - i have a phobia of insects and this is driving me to want to just torch the place and live in a hotel the rest of my life.

i'd like to install a dishwasher under our sink, but it will require us to remove a section of cabinet, maybe extend the counter somehow.

can anyone suggest a handyperson/carpenter that can work in holyoke?

I've been looking through the posts on the sub and i've seen some suggestions, but a lot of them are over a year old, so i thought i'd ask for current thoughts on what i should be looking at for a new 18 in dishwasher

i don't want to spend more than like 1200, and we only have two people living here so a small one will be fine (also the configuration of our kitchen won't allow anything bigger without a lot of work)

ive seen a lot of suggestions for bosch, but i know that the quality might have changed in the last year or two.

so what does everyone think? thanks in advance
