I put a lot of time into my videos but barely get any views – what could I improve?

Hi everyone,

I put a lot of time and effort into this video, but it barely gets any views. I'd really appreciate some honest feedback. What could I improve (thumbnail, title, editing, storytelling, etc.)?

I also struggle to define a clear target audience. I create DIY projects, art installations, music, and animations, and I don't really want to make a separate channel for each topic.

What would you do in my situation?

Arduino project – magazine vending machine with card payment/PayPal without internet?

Hi everyone,

I want to build an Arduino project: a vending machine that dispenses magazines. One magazine should cost €10.

I’ve already worked with coin acceptors, but I think most customers won’t have exactly €10 in cash. That’s why I would prefer to offer card payments or PayPal.

My problem is that there is currently no internet available at the location. I would need to set it up first if it’s absolutely necessary.

Do you have any ideas what the simplest and cheapest solution would be to accept payments and then trigger the Arduino to release the product?

Has anyone here built something similar or can recommend suitable hardware?

Thanks a lot!

PDF imposition for A6 magazine printing on A4?

Hello everyone,

I’m currently trying to print a small magazine and I’m a bit stuck on imposition / booklet printing.

My setup:

I design my pages in A6 format

I want to print on A4 paper

double-sided (duplex printing)

then cut each A4 sheet in half to get two A6 pages

The problem:

If I use “booklet printing”, it only creates a folded A5-style booklet

If I use “multiple pages per sheet”, the front and back order is no longer correct

What I’m looking for: 👉 a tool or method that automatically imposes the PDF so that:

front and back pages match correctly

the output is optimized for duplex printing on A4

and in the end it can be cut into A6 parts and folded into A6 booklets

Is there any software or online tool that can do this properly ?

I use Clip Studio Paint.

Is the “White Cube” really a neutral space for self-contained artworks?

I’m trying to understand the concept of the White Cube in art theory and have a few questions.

It’s often said that:

The White Cube presents artworks as autonomous, self-contained objects.

Is that actually true in practice?

Are artworks in White Cube spaces really “self-contained,” or do many works (installations, conceptual, process-based works) already depend on openness and context?

The White Cube is supposed to remove context and external influence — but does that really work, or is it more of an ideal?

Where does a White Cube begin and end? Is it a specific type of space, or more of a curatorial approach?

Are all galleries and museums White Cubes, or only certain kinds?

Would be interested in both theory and practical perspectives.

Could social media be described as an inverted tunnel?

Social media feels like an infinite open space, yet it increasingly guides perception in certain directions.

You feel like you're seeing everything, even though algorithms and attention-driven systems are constantly filtering your view of the world.

What came first: brainrot or the internet? Does “brainrot” arise from the quality of the content or from the way it is consumed?

Absurd, seemingly meaningless content has existed for a long time—for example in Bakhtin’s concept of the “carnivalesque” or in the Dada movement. However, these forms often serve a deeper purpose: questioning existing power structures and thereby opening up new perspectives, even if this is not immediately visible.

I want to create a comic infotainment strip on this topic and am currently in the research phase. I would appreciate any thoughts or suggestions.
