Grabbing and moving players by facemask

Hey, need another coach's perspective since this is my first year coaching...ever.

I'm watching a coach move players around the field by pulling on their facemasks. Granted, it's not super aggressive but also kinda unexpected to me...and IMO.

Lot's changed from when I played 5th grade tackle football, and my coach probably did this to me too, but

Is this acceptable behaviour from a coach to a 5th grade boy?

Personally, I find it offensive and if i'm trying to move my boys, i place an open hand on the square of their back and very gingerly guide them over to where they need to be...but again, this could just be me and my opinion.

Homeowner sued HOA, Plaintiff's lawyer forced residents to pay

True story. I am not the neighbor who sued, just some clown who had to pay.

I paid $1300 to my direct neighbors as part of a settlement between the HOA and them.

I was one of 50 households who did pay (reviewed this in PACER).

The neighbors were my direct neighbors and have/had no qualms with them at all, they're a struggling household with 5 kids with autism or varying levels of intellectual disabilities.

Our HOA had bylaws that said no fences. In 2009 a neighbor was told to remove her fence as it violated the bylaws. She was pissed as she ran an in-home daycare. But, the bylaws were written in 2000. In 2015 another neighbor asked the HOA to build a fence because they had an autistic child who ran away constantly. HOA vehemently denied them, this neighbor moved. In 2017 another neighbor asked for a fence due to the same aforementioned reason. Again, HOA denied albeit more subtly by refusing to make a decision and misleading the neighbor on "we will have to check the bylaws and ordinances...and then refused to reply to the neighbor.

In 2018 this neighbor sued the HOA under a federal house discrimination lawsuit. During the lifetime of this lawsuit (closed out in 2024), us homeowners were unaware of what was happening; both the neighbors and the HOA never said a word to anyone. The HOA hired an attorney and incurred fees where both individual HOA boardmember's personal funds and homeowner dues were used to pay for legal services. Once the judge decided in favour to the homeowner, the plantiaff's attorneys requested $1300 per household.

After this happened, I personally walked over to my neighbor's home to apologize for all this trouble, and I was unaware of what was happening in her home. I handed her my check and then immediately wrote the law offices to say I did.

I'm not looking for follow on advice but just another big "fuckHOA" contribution.

Walmart shopper left business card in my groceries

Wanted to post in /walmart but apparently that is for current and past Walmart employees only.

We have Walmart+ and ordered groceries delivered. While unpacking groceries, I found a business card for the gentleman.

Is this allowed or could he get fired for that?

He's a friend/neighbor and does/did this for others in the area. We're a MAGA-heavy community and he's Hispanic. Concerned

Associated Bank permits fraud

This sucks.

I recently experienced fraud on my debit card. Despite letting my bank know it's fraud...they permitted the transaction anyways and are giving me the run around with a dispute. I'm not the victim...I'm just a number. The bank is u/AssociatedBank, a 'local' bank that alleges progressive policies

Constant freezing at Armillary questline

Hoping that I'm a one-off, but on my PS5 version of Starfield, I'm at the point where I need to add that Armillary on a planet or my ship. But, Starfield always crashes out after I build the long-range scanner. Always! The game completely locks up and will never go to the PS5 error screen. Seems like this makes the game dead in the water; but perhaps there's a trick or odd thing you can do to not make this happen?

I routinely get the error "Access to Freesound is denied" page when I try visiting the site. HTTP error 403. I've literally visited, signed up, confirmed my account and everything. No clue, i'm in US, if there's some sort of blacklisting going on. Anyone else get similar error(s)?
