I seem to be the problem 🤦‍♀️

Aries Sun

Capricorn Rising

Scorpio Moon

Its been a tough decade for me. Mostly it is my emotional state. And I feel that affects quality of life and external environment. Every format of relationship is conflict.

Id be grateful for any advice at this point.

Return to me, will you.

A letter to me...

To the playful version that I once were.

I miss you. I miss the lightness I felt being you... the confidence...the sense of humour...the sparkle in your eyes of being young and alive.

Come back to me.

Breathe life into me once more, will you?

Put them sparkles back into my eyes that were once its home.

Its okay if you weren't everyone's cup of tea.

It made you, YOU.

And it was the biggest sign of a living version of you.

So return to me...

I promise you, this time, I will hold you tight.

I will not abandon you for the comforts of another person.

I will not ask you to shrink yourself when you take space.

Let me love you,

The way you truly deserved to be loved.

Second marriage

I have been separated and divorced for awhile. Female. Late 30s.

Having always believed in the institution of marriage, I dont know if me thinking of remarriage is for right reasons.

Is it the emotional support I expect as a single parent

Is it someone to be my emotional safety

Is it someone to build a family and life together with as per societal norms

Is it companionship that I crave

Is it someone to lean on financially which I know is absolutely wrong even though I am working - how do you draw the line in this

In all this, to be honest, I dont know what I bring to the table other than... integrity and commitment which i really dont think has value in this world.

Have I healed as a person - nope! A whole lot of grief i dont even know where to begin with. And I wonder if remarriage is possible only post healing? Only if I am secure in myself, should I look for a partner? Reason being - it was one of the issues in my marriage. That I made my spouse my entire world. I am also very conservative in the way I think about men...I see them as father's, sons and husband's. I have never known what it is to be friends with them because (men here please dont get offended for my black and white thinking) I feel friendship is not possible. And I feel their motives are usually just about getting laid (I know - I am sorry I think that way!). But I have also had a lot of girlfriends who have had such good long term friendships with men so I know its a "me problem".

Its a whole lot of questions. But whoever has been on either side of my story above, do share your perspectives.

Moving to Kottayam

Hi...millenial parent here.

I am thinking of relocating from Trivandrum to Kottayam. How is Kottayam in terms of convenience options like Uber / Swiggy / domestic helpers / community living setups etc.

Any insights would be helpful.

Thank you.

Millennials in TVM — where do you all hang out or has it just been work - home - work?

Millenial here. I am kind of new to Trivandrum and a remote worker. Apart from Lulu and MOT, where do people actually hang out — with family or otherwise? Any reading clubs for our age group, hobby groups, or support groups?

Also genuinely curious — for fellow millennials here, how has life actually panned out in TVM? Career, parenting, social life, settling down here vs elsewhere — curious how people's 30s are looking in this city.

Hi everyone. Looking for honest industry perspectives, not reassurance.

My background — BA and Masters in HR Management. 6 plus years with a training company and additional 3 years of developing soft skills and behavioural learning content — leadership, communication, conflict, self awareness. But all research based on reading material on AI or reddit or articles etc.

Currently doing mentored training in ADDIE/SAM, Articulate Storyline and Rise.

I'm not a formally trained instructional designer. I came from content development and training administration.

My strength is AI assisted scenario writing from real human stories and concepts that resonate with learners - not per LinkedIn corporate jargons.

I'm increasingly drawn toward inclusive and neurodiverse learning design — informed both by professional research and personal experience as a mother to a special needs child who has a different pace at learning.

My honest question — does my profile have genuine traction? Or do I need specific technical certifications before anyone takes me seriously?

Appreciate your perspectives and suggestions - thanks.
