Anyone received any update/interview invite for Amazon SDE-I (AUTA) Job ID: 3015604 after clearing the OA?

Hi everyone,

I received a Cognizant GenC LOI for the Programmer Analyst Trainee (PAT) role with 4 LPA a few months back. Today I received another mail titled:

“Next step for your onboarding: Cognizant CIS Business Practice Opportunity”

The mail says they are inviting us to explore an opportunity in the CIS Business Practice and attached a JD for:
Engineer Trainee – Multicloud.

It also asks to fill a survey form before the deadline confirming willingness to proceed with this role.

My confusion is:

I only want to continue with the original Programmer Analyst Trainee (PAT) role and I am not interested in switching to the Multicloud/Infra support role.

So if I:

• do not fill the form
• or select “not interested”

will Cognizant reject/cancel my original PAT LOI or onboarding process?

Did anyone already confirm this with HR or get any official clarification?

Would really appreciate any help from people who received the same mail.

Did anyone else who gave the Infosys assessment on 26 April (Afternoon Slot) solve all coding questions but still not receive the Round 2 survey/location preference mail?

I passed all test cases, but many candidates have already started receiving the second-round survey mail. Is Infosys sending these mails in batches/phases, or should I assume the shortlist process is over and move on?

Would appreciate updates from others in the same situation.

I recently cleared the Amazon SDE I (University Hiring, India) online assessment, and I’ve been informed that interviews will be scheduled based on slot availability (might take around a month).

I want to use this time effectively and would really appreciate guidance from people who have gone through the process recently.

My current prep:

*Comfortable with most medium-level questions

Strong in Java (DSA,OOP, backend fundamentals)

My questions:

*What level of DSA should I focus on now — more medium or start doing more hard?

*How much system design / LLD is expected for SDE I freshers?

*What kind of behavioral questions should I prepare (Leadership Principles)?

Any recent (2025–2026) interview experiences or patterns would really help!

Also, what would be the best way to structure preparation over the next ~1 month?

I really don’t know how to feel at this point, so just sharing here hoping someone understands.

I’m from the 2025 batch. I applied for GenC (PAT role) at Cognizant around Nov–Dec 2025. I cleared everything — assessment, interview (Jan 16), got the selection mail, and even received my LOI on Feb 16.

At that time, I felt like everything was finally falling into place. I thought “okay, I’m placed now… things are sorted.”

So I stopped applying to other companies.

But now… it’s almost the end of April, and there’s still no offer letter, no update, nothing.

I raised queries through Superset multiple times, but every reply is the same copy-paste:

"We are preparing the offer letter as per business requirements…"

And honestly, it’s getting really hard mentally.

It’s not just the waiting… it’s the uncertainty.

Every day I wake up thinking maybe today there will be an update but nothing comes.

What hurts more is the guilt.

I keep thinking maybe I made a mistake by trusting the process and stopping my job search. Now it feels like I’m stuck in between not a student anymore, not an employee either.

Unemployment feels really heavy when you’re just waiting without any clarity.

I know many others are facing the same issue, so I just want to ask:

Are you also stuck after LOI for GenC/PAT?

Are you still waiting or have you started applying again?

How are you even dealing with this mentally?

At this point, I don’t even need immediate joining… just some clear communication would help a lot.

Would really appreciate hearing from others going through this.
