So….I hooked this up for home defense but can also be for duty/battle or competition. 🫡
I changed the recoil spring to an 11lb spring by Wolff Gunsprings and a 17lb main spring aka hammer spring also by Wolff Gunsprings. I added a Harbor Freight Braun light (because budget) and the Gideon Omega optic (because budget). I will say, in my most honest and non biased opinion, an SRO optic or SRO clone (like mine) on the Mac is like it was meant for it!! Lines up perfectly with the sights and it looks good too!….Just incase anyone wants to put an optic on their 2011 and needed an option.

P.s. you don’t have to spend a lot of money on an optic for it to be a good optic. I recommend the brand Gideon Optics. 🫡
