Found World Soccer at STL and this is actually really cool

When someone commented saying World Soccer could be inside of the dining room/restaurant portion. I thought that was a stupid decision to do since no one would know about it and wouldn’t get alot of attention. IF IT WAS THE REGULAR CABINET

But they actually did it in a cool way by hooking the game up to one of their large tvs and putting it on free play mode.

I wouldn’t have saw this if I didn’t know about it being in the restaurant area. Since I thought STL didn’t get the game yet.

This would’ve been a good thing to advertise. unless it was just something STL did for fun.

Would be cool to do this with more games such as NBA superstars.

R.I.P Speed Demon (Replaced by Nothing)

St Louis has sadly lost Speed Demon, a piece of history is now gone. Does Irvine still have theirs?

They also took out Ghost Busters, Luigi Mansion, Spiderman, Guardians, One of the Top Guns, Emoji Frenzy, Nascar Pitstop, Bobblehead Baseball, Hungry Hippos, Razing Storm and Crossy Road.

Also a few months back they took out Cut The Rope and Transformers Human Alliance.

But they gotten some extra new games such as All-In, Fast & Furious Arcade and 2 units of Daytona.

St Louis has gotten all of the new games besides World Soccer for some reason.

I hope they make a modernized version of Speed Demon since the game is really fun.

It sucks to see a older game getting taken out, probably the last opening day game at STL. St Louis is one of the oldest stores in the chain and it doesn’t feel the same anymore after Speed Demon Left. But as of right now Pac-man Battle Royale 4 players is still holding on and same thing for Press Your Luck.

Even those two games aren’t as old as Speed Demon they are still holding on in STL as the two unique older Games.

But St Louis will still have unique games once those two eventually go. (Daytona, Fast & Furious and All-IN) I have never seen All-In at another Dave & Busters so St Louis is still a unique store in terms of game selection.

But It will never feel the same as the older unique games did.

Some of my Ideas of how to improve Dave & Busters.

I've been going to Dave & Buster's since 2015, and I've noticed that since around 2024, the experience has started to feel different in a few ways. Some of it has to do with changes in quality, the overall experience, and the vibe.

I want to share a few ideas I have for the company that I think would improve it while bringing back some of the old feeling and still keeping up with how things are evolving.

Winner Circle Improvements

The first thing is Winner Circle. There haven't been any major changes in terms of prizes for a while. Some things have also gone downhill, such as the candy selection. D&B used to have a really good candy selection, but nowadays it's mostly low-quality or random candies that you can get at any store and aren't that special anymore.

If you look at Main Event, they have a much larger candy selection, and some of the items there you can't get from your typical store except at Five Below, It's Sugar, or online, which makes it feel more special and unique. Main Event has huge Dum Dums, a giant gummy bear, cereal straws, wax bottles, candies with mystery toys inside, and many more candy-related items.

Yes, Dave & Buster's does have the big pizza gummy and those coin bank candy items, but they should improve their candy selection by adding more unique and specialty candy options.

I also know that Main Event's target market is more focused on kids than Dave & Buster's, but since they are the same company, why not test some of the candy and food options they have at Main Event in the D&B prize area to see how they perform?

Another improvement I would make to Winner Circle is adding more regional prizes. As of right now, every D&B has mostly the same prizes aside from a few items (the footballs and the show tickets at Times Square).

A few years back, they had plush bears with sports teams on them in the prize area (NBA, MLB, and NFL, I think). Each location had different teams based on the closest local team to that store. For example, Kansas City had a Royals bear, and Orlando had an Orlando Magic bear. There were also more location-based items, such as glasses that had the store's city or state on them. It would be cool if they brought these back as souvenir-style prizes.

Right now, the footballs are the only unique prizes in Winner Circle since each store has different teams based on its location.

My third idea for Winner Circle would be to make them much bigger at the newer stores. Winner Circle used to feel special because it was massive and felt like an actual store. Nowadays, it's just a small room in the newer stores.

I have some more ideas for Winner Circle that I think would be positive, but I don't want to make this post too long.

App Improvements

As of right now, once you get to Level 9, you don't get any offers or free rewards besides the 15% bonus and occasional deals like the $2.50 Fourth of July offer.

I feel like they should do offers such as:

  • "Spend $25+ on chips, get a free entrée on us."
  • "Play 6 of the new games and get 1,000 tickets on us."
  • "50% off food up to a certain amount."

These deals would be app-exclusive and would be different each month to get people to come back into the store. They would basically be rotating monthly app offers. A lot of restaurants and stores do offers like this, and I'm surprised D&B hasn't done something similar.

I think this would be better than having multiple Half-Price Game Days since that can get repetitive after a while. Stick to two Half-Price Game Days a week (Sunday and Wednesday) and do rotating app offers instead.

The issue is that you don't want these offers to be abused or overdone, which is why you create a decent variety of them so they don't become overused or repetitive over time. This is an issue I see with the current passes and Half-Price Game Days.

I would also offer an exclusive Power Card if you download the app that you can redeem in person at the store.

I know a lot of people would agree with this improvement: upgrade the Level 9 prize pack to include the gold Power Card again to make it feel more exciting and special.

Improvements with the Remodels

Some parts of the remodels are nice, such as the new midway carpet, and the new bar looks incredible. However, the Social Bays (darts and shuffleboard) don't seem to be that popular based on what I've seen at Friendswood, St. Louis, Dallas, and Orange. They either should have made these work with Embed readers like they later did with The Arena, or just scrapped them.

One thing they have to think about is, "How can we be different and unique compared to other sports bars and entertainment centers?"

One idea I have is adding a stadium-style seating area on the restaurant side. The seating would be curved, making it feel like you're sitting in a stadium.

The goal would be to make guests feel like they're actually at a live sporting event instead of just watching a game from a regular table.

Some restaurants have done similar concepts, but I think Dave & Buster's could take it further and make it a signature part of the experience.

It would make them feel unique again since they used to have the same kind of vibe as Rainforest Cafe, Hard Rock Cafe, Bubba Gump, and other specialty restaurants.

I also have another idea for the remodels, but I'm not sure if it would be successful or not.

Bring Back Some of the Old Games in More Modern Ways

They used to have some very popular games back in the day. One game I think they should bring back is D&B Downs, the carnival-style game where you roll a ball into holes and race against other people. This game could be very successful if it were done correctly and would make D&B feel much more special again.

I would also bring back the old NASCAR game and make it more modern and interactive since that game was also really fun.

Both of those are experiences you can't really have at home, and I think they should continue focusing on games that people can't easily play at home, which is what they've been doing lately.

How to Improve New Stores

New stores are currently somewhat small. The restaurant area is much smaller compared to the older stores, and it doesn't feel like a real restaurant. The newer stores feel like an arcade with a small food area, while the older stores feel like a proper restaurant with an arcade.

They need to make the new stores more unique and make them feel like more than just an arcade with a little food area. They should feel like a destination and create a memorable experience.

I also think these newer stores aren't creating as many long-term customers as the older, larger stores did because they don't feel as special or unique anymore.

Do you agree with my ideas of how to improve this company?

The new Dave & Buster's in Sugar Land, Texas, now has a 360 interior Street View on Google Maps.

Looks like a decent store. Similar to the other new stores lately Oakland, King of Prussia, etc. Exterior is unique/cool.

They do in fact have two units of the social bays (One Darts and one shuffleboard). So they are limiting the amount that they have of these. Since some stores have 3 of each. No Arena though.

They have some new games that I think hadn't appeared at any D&B in the US which are Angry Birds Boom and Tom & Jerry Kitchen Chaos Air hocky. This store literally has 3 air hockey tables.

Also new Kiosks that looks less modern compared to the other ones.

There also are some new unique games that are at other new stores such as Typhoon Shockwave, Super Blaster, Moto Blitz, Duck Derby, Dippin Dots Drop, Ghostbuster Wheel, Tundra toss, QB Pro, Tornado Pusher, D&B Mega Claw, JJ Bot, Goat n ropes, Krazy Balls and plenty more. They also have the new Maimai game, which I doubt will last as a blue swipe.

Also some older games that rarely go to new stores Yahtzee, Bobblehead Baseball, Jelly Lab, Big Buck Hunter, Alien, Zombie Snatcher and SpongeBob Pineapple arcade which I'm shocked about.

They don't have Hot Wheels Victory Lap here, so they might be phasing it out now. Same thing with Star trek but that was already known for some new stores since they aren't producing it anymore. Also only two Units Super Bikes 3 and not the usual four like other new stores. Also it doesn't have the unicorn marquee on it, just the generic one.

Game placement seems a bit weird in some parts. I would swap Down the Clown and Milk Jug Toss with the two Quarterback Pro units. That way, all of the carnival games are grouped together, and most of the sports games are together. Also I would move some other games around to. I do like the human crane being in the middle though.

Their willy Wonka had the wrong values on it. This is common at other new stores till they eventually changed them. Also Duck Derby looks like it might've got nerfed to 50 tickets for the bonus.

This store doesn't look bad, very similar to the other new stores. Definitely worth visiting if you hadn't been to a new store yet or play none of the newer games. But if you already have a new store by you that opened in the past few months, this one may not be worth visiting since the game selection is pretty much identical. Also sorta small like the other new stores, but isn't the smallest new store they have done recently.

Have the World Cup watch parties been popular and successful at D&B so far?

They are definitely doing a decent amount of promotions for the world cup this year. Has your location been more busy during the games or is it same level as before the world cup?

Dave & Busters in San Diego & Oakland now have 360 Interior Street view on Google Maps

Both Stores don't have the Arenas and San Diego doesn't have the social Bays meanwhile Oakland only has one darts and one Shuffleboard. So they are definitely trying to figure out what to do in the remodels, since those attractions aren't being very successful of what I seen. I have a few ideas for remodel stores that I'm surprised they hadn't done yet.

Really hope this is a new thing for remodeled stores/new stores, since they used to do interior street view for most stores a few years ago. But they stopped doing it for some reason and those pictures are now outdated. It always nice seeing what games each location has, it's sad seeing no unique games at the San Diego store besides the Tundra toss/Hot Shot despite it having a big midway.

What I think about Kick N Win

Just played Kick N Win and it’s a fun game/something different compare to the NBA Balls.

Now each location/machine varies by strength since some stores are impossible to win and some are easier to win from.

I managed to win 13 balls and a tech let me trade out a duplicate ball for one I didn’t have already so shout out to him (plus The Machine was almost empty and needed to be refill).

Always reach out to a Tech if you think a game isn’t working right, or if you want to trade in a prize for something else. Not a guarantee that they will do that but it doesn’t hurt to ask just don’t constantly do it/abuse it.

The balls themselves are good quality, similar to the NBA balls just aren’t official Fifa ones just generic ones. The front of the balls state the country’s name and a small image of their flag and the back is just a huge flag of that country. But are still fun to collect/win. Plus cheaper than buying from Fifa.

I think there are 48 balls in the set since that is how many teams are in the world cup. The tech did say that each bag comes with around 5 USA Balls and each country has one in each bag.

Overall not a bad game, hope they do other themes with this. MLB or WNBA would be a cool to do next.

Do you guys think they’ll ever bring back something similar to the Deadpool posters or the emoji plushes from Frenzy?

When Emoji Frenzy had the instant prize balls with the plushies, it was actually fun to play because you never knew when one would come out. The plushies were also cool to win and felt like you won something special since you couldn’t redeem them with tickets or win them the regular way, like from a claw machine.

Then when D&B rethemed Grab N Win to Deadpool, each store only got one autographed poster. People were playing specifically to try to win it. I guarantee some of them never got redeemed because some stores had a decent number of leftovers in Winner’s Circle, and the QR codes probably got accidentally thrown away too.

I’d love to see D&B bring something like those two promotions.

Yes, Kick N Win is a retheme, but right now it doesn’t hit the same way the Emoji Frenzy plushies or the Deadpool promotion did. That said, I’ll still try to collect all of the balls in the set.

u/MrDog321 — 29 days ago

Definitely feel like they missed a opportunity with the World Cup Human Crane by using generic soccer balls.

This will still be successful, but I definitely feel like they should’ve made the soccer ball inflatables D&B branded. Like how the tubes, sharks and plenty more are.

It just feels like a generic thing to win, an inflatable soccer ball that you can probably buy anywhere else.

I would’ve probably done an Orange/Blue inflatable Soccer Ball with the Dave & Busters logo on it. To make it more like a souvenir and not something generic. Also the white/black soccer ball but with a D&B logo on it.

Also I would’ve done a trophy inflatable that is D&B theme.

The main point is that I want D&B to focus on more souvenir prizes and making them unique. I have so many ideas in this category that I can see being successful.

Finally won Odin’s HammerStrike

This Game is definitely one you should play a few times just in case it’s ready to pay out, just like Tippin , Angry Birds Arcade and plenty more.

When this store first got the game, you could only get around 1000 on it as your strength.

But then they changed something and your score is roughly 1500 every time, doesn’t matter the strength since I saw a kid hit it way softer than me and they got around the same score as me.

Game isn’t bad, still the one I like the least out of the new titles. But much better than most of the games that came out last year.

Are all Dave & Buster’s locations that are located nearby to a Main Event transferring/trading games (like Guardians and Spider-Man)

I notice that some stores have removed games such as Guardians, Emoji Frenzy, Spiderman Coin Pusher, Nascar Pitstop and One of the Top Gun Maverick and sending them to a Main Event nearby.

Are all of the D&B stores located next to a Main Event getting a rid of these games and sending them to Main Event?

Are Omen PCs actually good, or are they overpriced for what you get?

Planning on getting a new prebuilt PC this summer with around 2 TB of storage, a 5070 (or something similar), and 16–24 GB of RAM for around $2,000. Pretty much, I want something powerful that plays games perfectly, doesn’t lag, and is good for streaming and making videos.

I went to Best Buy to get an idea and look around, and the worker said that these Omen PCs are some of the best ones. He also said he has one at his house. He was trying to sell me one and a $600 monitor…but I wasn’t planning on buying a PC while I was there. Plus, I figured they were overpriced, and I wanted to ask some friends and this subreddit about Omens.

These New Games Are Amazing! Here Are My Thoughts (ICEE, Hot Wheels, Stranger Things, Odin & Perfect Pump)

This store currently has 5 of the new games with John Wick & World Cup Titles coming in soon. This store won't get Mandalorian & Grogu due to state laws regarding Coin Pushers.

These are hands down the best games we gotten since 2022 and I'm going to tell you my thoughts about all five of them.

1. ICEE Slush Rush

Whenever I saw this game a year or so ago. I knew this would eventually show up globally at Dave & Busters I just had a feeling it would. Since who thinks of ICEE having an arcade game? Like it not a brand you think of having an arcade game theme after it. plus it was a huge hit at IAAPA. I literally predicted it in this post back in 2025 and it was the only game in that post that had a "coming soon" sign on it. Which was true a year later in 2026.

Anyways ICEE slush rush is one of my favorites this years, since it's fast pace very interactive and a unique game. It definitely gives me vibes of some of the mobile games but in a more modern twist. I did play this game a decent amount to practice on it.

I do have to say that the settings are sorta sharp on this just like other people said. But it was a fun game, eye catching and has a replay factor on it. But I think once you practice it you will slowly get more better at it and win it. Since just like any other game you must practice in order to get good at it.

I still have to get better of not over filling the cups, pulling the wrong lever or not filling the cups all the way. But once I improved I will be way more better at it.

But overall this game is fun, very interactive/fast pace and has a replay factor on it.

2. Hot Wheels Ultimate Speedway

Now Hot wheels ultimate speedway is a very unique game just like ICEE. It literally Break The Plate & Air hockey combined. Since you slide it and try to aim for the values in the back which are moving. The reason why I also say Air Hockey is because, the machine pushes air out to make the pucks move more faster. Also if they get stuck on the board. Which did happen a few times but they eventually went down into the hole at the end.

This game is very satisfying and EXTREMELY fun to play. I played this and ICEE the most since how interactive and fast pace they are. Since you don't need to wait for a puck to come out since they come out in an instant after you slide your current puck. You can try to combine the targets on the back if they are right behind each other. Also a 100 target briefly comes out a few times sorta like the 150 on BTP and you have a limited time to hit it before it turns back into the 80 target.

But this in my opinion is the best Hot Wheels theme game they have gotten. Sorta wished they did the double cabinet so you can go against people in this which would have been really cool.

3. Stranger Things Arcade

Like I said in previous posts, this game is exactly like the PLAYBIOX game but more interactive and felt like a shooting game but you are throwing foam balls instead.

Now this version of the game didn't have the jackpot on it but it was still extremely fun. Since the most important thing is to have fun when you are at D & B. This game does get tiring after 4 or 5 plays since you got to run to each side of the machine to get the balls and you have to throw multiple at a time.

This game does have a replay factor on it, if you want to play the different levels on it or want to have a fun, fast pace, interactive throwing game. There are other throwing games that don't have a replay factor on them but this one has one. But it isn't as big as Hot Wheels, ICEE and some of the others.

This game reminds me of the old Spiderman homecoming game and Godzilla VR since told the end of each round you must try to stop the boss at the end with targets that dissapear and reappear.

There are also plenty of balls in this (Over 80 probably). Which means you don't need to worry about waiting for balls. A issue I saw is that sometimes the balls form a little pile on the left and get stuck there. But they eventually get free once they get enough pressure by other balls.

This game is very fun and very interactive and it nice to see a throwing games and a shooter combined. I hope we get more throwing games with different twists just like this in the future.

4. Perfect Pump

This game is extremely fast pace and unique just like the others. This game actually relates to something I do at gas stations where I try to stop it at a certain dollar amount. So that Definitely help me out with this game.

Also I love the different game modes on it, easy, medium and hard. Since you can choose your difficulty on it and there no other game that you can do that I believe besides Disney Crossy Road.

Perfect Pump is a good game if you want to play it a few times while you are there since it all skill and you can win anytime at any moment which I like about it. Also it's satisfying whenever you let go of the trigger and you hear the click.

This game isn't good for full price days since you can go through chips extremely fast but it still a game you should play a few tries for a chance to win it at it. Just like some other games in the midway.

If you want to get good at this game practice with a stop watch by stopping it at an certain amount or going to a gas station and stopping it on a dollar amount. Might sound stupid but in order to get good at Crossy road you must practice by playing it on the app, but in this case you pump gas in real life or a stop watch.

This game does have a big replay factor on it, probably the one with the biggest replay factor. Since you get so close to the amount that you want to play again and again.

Odin's Hammerstrike

Now I did play Odin prior to this visit when it was the only new game they had here. I was only able to get 1000 on it on that visit. But this time the jackpot was at 1500ish and I kept getting 1500 on it every time. So they most likely change the settings on it or when the score to beat goes up, the machine make your score go up more higher doesn't matter the force.

This is probably my least favorite out of the five since it's literally just a clone of whack n win just in a more modern way. Yes it's a unique game but I rather play whack n win where it more skill base and you can control how hard you hit it more.

Now this game is one you should also play a few times when you are there just in case it's ready to hit.

Now I do think this game uses A.I. for the difficulty since it remembers how hard you hit it prior but I might be wrong about that. But this game is interesting in that part. This is probably the game out of the five I would get bored of the fastest since it's just the same thing over and over again.

My Final Thoughts

All five of these games are much better than the last year titles since they all have a replay factor on them and are fun. This year is the most fun and the most I ever played the new games since they are unique, interactive and fast pace.

Now this store did remove the following games

  1. One of the Top Gun Maverick

  2. Nascar Pitstop

  3. Emoji Frenzy

  4. Guardians of The Galaxay

  5. Bobblehead baseball

  6. Luigi Mansion

  7. Crazy Curves

  8. Hungry Hungry Hippos (Tech was happy that was gone)

I do think these new games will be very successful and we are entering into an new era of D&B with these games.

This year’s lineup is for sure one of the most fun ones I have built in Minecraft.

There’s just something about building new arcade games in Minecraft that gives me good vibes.

It’s about combining my two biggest interests, creating realistic Minecraft builds and arcades, and turning them into one combined thing.

If you have two interests that you really like, you should try combining them and see how it turns out it might spark a new passion just like this Minecraft Build did.
