An older piece of mine — hand engraved brass Harley gas cap

Sharing an older piece I engraved several years ago.
This is a brass gas cap for a Harley-Davidson. The design is built around a blooming skull rose, surrounded by traditional scrollwork.
I used quite a bit of high-relief carving and hammering on this one to build up the depth and shape of the rose.
Looking back at some of my older work lately, and thought this one was worth sharing here

From Koi to Dragon

One of my favorite parts of custom commissions is hearing the stories behind them.
This watch was created for a client who had spent years building his own brand. After starting as a domestic distributor, he eventually established his own company, and this year it officially entered the international market.
He wanted a watch that would mark that moment.
After discussing a few different ideas, we chose the legend of the Carp Leaping Over the Dragon Gate as the inspiration.
The inside of the bracelet follows the koi swimming upstream, representing the years of perseverance, challenges, and hard work that led to this achievement.
The outside of the bracelet features the dragon, symbolizing the transformation after crossing the Dragon Gate and the beginning of a new chapter as his brand stepped onto the international stage.
His company logo was subtly integrated into the clasp, not simply as a logo, but as part of the story.
Everything on this watch was designed specifically for this project and engraved entirely by hand.
I’d love to know which detail caught your eye first.
Every watch tells a story.

I hand-engraved this Rolex Sea-Dweller with traditional scrollwork

I’m a hand engraver based in Taiwan, and this is one of my earlier full-watch engraving projects.

Traditional Western scrollwork was engraved across the bracelet, lugs, both sides of the case, and clasp. Each section was individually designed to follow the shape and proportions of the watch while maintaining a continuous flow throughout the entire piece.

Every line was cut entirely by hand using traditional engraving techniques—no CNC and no laser.

Thank you for looking. I’d be interested to hear what Rolex collectors think of this interpretation of the Sea-Dweller.

Behind the scenes of a hand-engraved Tudor BB58

Some of you asked how this Tudor was made, so here’s a look behind the scenes.
Every cut is done entirely by hand, and it’s always satisfying to watch the design slowly emerge from the steel.
Hope you enjoy the process as much as I enjoyed creating it.
What kind of engraving theme would you choose for your Tudor?

From Sketch to Steel — Part of the Hand-Engraving Process Behind a Custom Rolex Daytona

Every custom project begins with an original design.
This video shows part of the hand-engraving process behind a custom Rolex Daytona. After completing the design, I carefully transfer the artwork onto the watch before hand-engraving every detail using traditional techniques.
This is only a small part of the overall project, but I hope you enjoy this behind-the-scenes look at my process. Thank you for watching, and I’d be happy to answer any questions about hand engraving

From concept sketch to finished hand engraving – custom engraved Rolex Daytona bracelet and case

I wanted to share the process behind one of my earlier custom watch engraving projects.
Everything started with a hand-drawn design before transferring the pattern onto the bracelet, clasp and case. Every cut was done by hand using traditional engraving techniques—no CNC or laser engraving.
My goal was to create a continuous scroll pattern that flows naturally across every surface while respecting the original lines of the watch.
Swipe through the photos to see the progression from concept sketch to the finished piece.
I’d love to hear your thoughts or answer any questions about the engraving process

From sketch to finished watch – Hand engraving a Rolex Daytona

I wanted to share one of my recent projects.
This Rolex Daytona was completely hand engraved from a design I created myself. Every scroll pattern was first drawn digitally, then transferred and cut entirely by hand using traditional engraving techniques.
The bracelet, clasp and case sides were engraved to create a consistent flowing composition while preserving the original character of the watch.
Thanks for taking a look. I’d love to hear your thoughts

Greetings from Taiwan. I’d like to share a hand engraved Tudor Black Bay featuring gold inlay, scrollwork, and a koi design flowing across the bracelet and clasp.

Hello everyone,
I’m a hand engraver from Taiwan and would like to share one of my recent watch engraving projects.
The theme is a koi swimming through waves and floral elements, extending from the bracelet to the clasp and watch case. My goal was to create a continuous composition across the entire watch rather than a collection of individual engraved parts.
All feedback is welcome.
Thanks for viewing.
