Today, I finally understood what my father used to say:

"Beta, abhi nahi samajh aayega. Jab sab aage nikal jayenge, tab meri baat yaad aayegi."

And today, his words hit me hard.

I met one of my classmates from 10th grade. He was an average student, just like me. Nothing extraordinary, no special advantages. He pursued B.Tech in IT, while I chose Biology and somehow got stuck on a path that I now constantly question.

As we talked, I couldn't help but notice the difference. The confidence, the lifestyle, the good clothes, the car, the career growth, and now he's about to get married with complete certainty about his future.

Meanwhile, I'm still trying to figure things out.

Should I focus on earning more before marriage?

Should I change careers?

Did I make the wrong decisions?

One meeting was enough to make me feel like I had fallen behind

I know everyone has a different journey, but today it felt like life was showing me a mirror, and I didn't like what I saw.

I lost it!!

Went for lunch today at Arsalan Biryani Wala and thought I’d drop an honest review.

The place was packed when we reached. Too much crowd, as expected for a biryani spot. We had to wait almost 30 minutes for our turn and then another bit to get a table. Not the best if you’re in a hurry.

Once seated, the vibe is pretty basic but decent. It’s a typical quick-service biryani joint nothing fancy, but clean enough. We went during the day for lunch, which felt fine. I wouldn’t make it a regular spot, but if you’re suddenly craving biryani, it’s a solid option.

Location: It’s a little ahead (or behind, depending on which side you’re coming from) of Memko Chowk.

Price: Reasonable / ठीक-ठाक. Not expensive.

Taste: Honest opinion — it’s decent. Not “wow, best biryani ever” level, but perfectly okay. The biryani was edible and satisfied the craving, nothing extraordinary though.

Overall: 6.5/10. Good for an occasional biryani fix when the mood strikes, especially during daytime. If you’re looking for exceptional taste, you might be slightly disappointed, but for the price and convenience, it does the job.

Around a week ago I posted here asking for tips on Dhanbad places, transport, rentals, etc. Got mixed replies, some positive, some negative.

Well, I’m finally here. And honestly? The people are genuinely helpful and friendly. Strangers went out of their way to guide me.

But ask for any address and even long-time locals get clueless. The city is growing so fast new roads, shops, and buildings everywhere. Everything keeps changing!

Overall, pleasantly surprised.

Uttarakhand mein UKD ab bahut discuss ho rahi hai. Log soch rahe hain ki agar UKD power mein aayi to kya woh pahad ke real issues (migration, youth jobs, environment protection, better roads aur local development) par sach mein kaam karegi? Ya yeh bhi wahi purana "Badlaav" ka jumla hai jo election jeetne ke baad bhool jaate hain?

Ek baat samajh nahi aa rahi jo bhi party ruling mein hoti hai (BJP ho ya Congress), unke candidates bhi to Uttarakhand ke locals hi hote hain. Phir farak kya hai? UKD se lad rahe hain ya BJP-Congress se end mein candidate to yahin ka hota hai. Kya sirf party ka naam badalne se kuch alag development hoga? Ya asli farak leadership, vision aur accountability mein hai?

UKD regional party hone ke wajah se alag ho sakti hai ya yeh bhi same old politics hai?

For medical laboratories, the specific international standard is ISO 15189:2022 (Medical laboratories — Requirements for quality and competence). This is the latest version (published in December 2022), and most countries are now transitioning to or already using it. There was a 3-year transition period from the previous 2012 version, ending around December 2025.

Karnaprayag mein Hemkund se wapas jaate Nihang pilgrims ka parking ka chhota sa jhagda hua (16 June). Swords nikal gayi, log injured hue, 4 arrested. Phir Nagrasu gurdwara mein dusre Nihangs ne rooftop occupy kar liya release ki demand pe. Brief standoff, ab talks se khatam.

Mera opinion as a local: Char Dham Yatra season mein hum pilgrims ko handle karte hain, lekin swords, violence aur gurdwara disturb karna bilkul galat hai. Highway block, safety issue aur livelihood pe asar padta hai. Overreaction ko condemn karte hain. Law apna course le, communal mat banao. Hills mein better parking aur management ki zarurat hai.
