I honestly get scared of maranaos

Don’t get me wrong, I know sensitive ni nga topic, but one case that has genuinely stayed in my mind for years is what happened to Daniel Lim who was a 17 years old that time studying in XU back in 2005-2006 sa Cagayan de Oro. I heard about this through my aunt, who was a lawyer and somehow close as a family friend sa victim, and every detail she told me was honestly disturbing enough nga up until now dili gyud nako malimtan.

From what I was told, Daniel was allegedly lured into meeting someone he trusted which was the maranao girl, only to end up being abducted. Later on, he was reportedly subjected to brutal abuse before his body was eventually found abandoned in Indahag. The condition he was found in was so horrifying nga even years later people who knew about the case still remember how traumatizing it was, not only because of what happened to him physically, but because of what his family had to go through after.

What makes this even darker is hearing that despite evidence and people knowing there were individuals allegedly involved, the family supposedly lived in fear after receiving serious threats, to the point nga pursuing justice became almost impossible. Imagine losing someone in such a brutal and terrifying way, then having to carry that pain while feeling powerless to fight back. Hangtod karon, Daniel Lim never got the justice he deserved, and stories like this remind me nga sometimes the truth doesn’t disappear because people forget… sometimes it disappears because people are too afraid to speak.

Rest in Peace Daniel Lim 🙏🏻

What are your opinion on Martin Romualdez for Vice President and Leni Robredo for President in 2028? I believe that would be a sure win.

What are your opinion on having Martin Romualdez run for Vice President alongside Leni Robredo for President in 2028? Personally, I believe this combination could be a strong and strategic tandem with a real chance of securing a major victory. Martin’s strong political influence, legislative experience, and access to resources could play a significant role in supporting national development. I also admire how the current administration has implemented policies such as the increase from 7% to 12% tax, as it reflects an effort to generate more funds that can be used to improve infrastructure, public services, and the country’s overall development. Combined with Leni’s established public trust, leadership experience, and reform-driven image, this partnership could create a balanced ticket capable of attracting broad support from different sectors of Philippine society.

I will vote for Duterte this 2028

The more I observe what’s happening in the Philippines, the more convinced I am that I will support Sara Duterte in 2028.

Look at what’s happening today. Billions of pesos meant for flood control projects money that should have protected ordinary Filipinos from disasters have been tied to corruption controversies and investigations. Meanwhile, ordinary citizens continue suffering from floods every single year while public funds disappear into questionable projects. That issue has already affected public trust and even government spending nationwide. ([Reuters](https://www.reuters.com/world/asia-pacific/philippines-cuts-2026-growth-forecast-citing-graft-scandal-energy-crisis-2026-06-22/?utm\_source=chatgpt.com))

At the same time, many Filipinos are deeply concerned about rising youth violence, lack of discipline, and the feeling that society is becoming more chaotic. Parents are seeing more cases of disrespect, crime involving minors, and weakening accountability.

This is exactly why many people still support the Duterte brand of leadership because during the Duterte years, people associated that government with stricter implementation of laws, stronger emphasis on discipline, and leaders who projected authority instead of weakness.

Sara Duterte has executive experience from leading Davao City and serving nationally. Supporters believe she represents continuity firm leadership, decisiveness, and governance that prioritizes order and accountability.

For me, leadership is not about popularity contests or endless political drama.

I want a leader who can be firm when the country needs firmness.

And right now, looking at corruption scandals, misuse of taxpayer money, and the growing concerns about discipline in society…

I know where my vote is going in 2028.

CAP College or Manila Business College for BSBA?

Problem/Goal:
I want to choose between CAP College Foundation and Manila Business College to finish my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration online as fast and efficiently as possible.

Context:
I’m an undergrad who already finished around 3 years of college and I’m planning to transfer schools to complete my degree. My priority is finishing as soon as possible without wasting more time or money.

Previous Attempts:
From what I’ve gathered so far, CAP seems more flexible with units per term, while MBC only allows around 12 units per term, which might slow down my graduation.

Request:
If you were in my situation, which would you choose and why? I’m only choosing between these two options, so please no public university suggestions. Thanks!

Is (AIDE) legit? Thoughts?or scam?

I’m looking into BSBA programs and found the Asian Institute for Distance Education (AIDE). A distance learning setup is non-negotiable for me since I travel almost every month and am about to start working traditional, face to face classes just won't work with my schedule. Before I jump in, I want to double check their credibility. What's the verdict on them?
