Disconnector y u no reset?

Slapped this together with a leftover butchered 80% lower, a cut up handguard, a very abused upper receiver, 4.9" borebuddy barrel and trip/reliability kit. BCM pnt trigger cut for a Super Safety. Made it work with cheap anti-walk kns trigger pins. Regular pins kept walking out after a few dozen mags.

Can is a Deadair BDE.

Shooting at a downwards trajectory into water and surrounded by desert on all sides here.

Retro enough for me, even as a .22lr

Buddy sold me his Chiappa M4 upper after the polymer upper blew up in his face. Apparently they're notorious for doing that lol so I took it apart, salvaged the barrel (which I threaded 1/2×28 for a mock supressor) and the bolt.

Broke the crappy aluminum A2 front sight so I swapped to a real one, and rebuilt it with an A2 upper.

Finished it off with a Vortex red dot and a Maglite I grabbed from grandpa's basement years ago.

Originally had it as a spare upper to throw on my primary lower but I got the itch to build something again after finding a pretty cheap DPMS lower. Has anyone here had any luck making these super safe or am I just wistfully thinking?

First time Olight owner. Gift from the wife.

Ever since I got exposed to fentanyl and went on an unwanted 25-30 trip to hell I've been worried it can happen again. Don't know why anyone would do that stuff but I've been paranoid since. Ended up carrying 2 doses on my belt and 2 in my vest for a total of 4 doses. Anyone else here ever been exposed?

Yes it's heavy.
